Vocal warm-ups are so wonderfully silly and professional at the same time.
Cleveland based musician performing covers and originals that stir your soul and shake your boots.
Beezy Douglas writes songs that deal with the harsh realities of the daily grind, the ups and downs of relationships, and the struggle to maintain dignity and integrity in a world that often seems stacked against us. His cover catalog will stir your soul and shake your boots in equal parts.

Working on my Halloween set list to open the with on 10/30.
Playin' songs and tellin' stories
2023 has been an ordeal to say the least.
To get through it, I've had to undergo a lot of positive transformations to get my mental, physical, and spiritual health back on track. Of all the changes I've made, none has been more impactful than quitting smoking after three decades of carrying the addiction.
I'm finally starting to transition from "survive" to "thrive", and figured I'd perform a lil' living room show to celebrate, elucidate, and ruminate with my friends, fam, and fans.
We had a magical time performing in the Coventry Village street festival!
Heading over to Cleveland Heights 2nd coolest street (Lee Rd), to play some music from 7:30-8:30 before the Social Room Open Mic kicks off!

Catch me every Monday playing in the hour leading up to the Social Room Open Mic!
7:30-8:30
Played at the local dive bar last night where a friend was tending.
Thanks for listening, M.T. Glass! Can't wait to come back again.
Thanks again and for having me yesterday!
Also grateful for my new friend Melissa Birdsong for helping me with the gear and snapping some photos.
I'm as serenely happy as three Paul Rudds under a full moon today, taking a much need a day of rest, choring, and reflection.
This has been one of the greatest weeks in music I've had in quite a while.
Monday at the Social Room Open Mic was so packed with newcomers and regulars that I pushed my set to the very end. A late night birthday party of five showed up during my set and insisted that I keep playing. I told them only if they keep drinking, and I ended up playing until well after last call. I made more money in tips at the mic than I ever have before, about half of what I'm paid to MC.
Tuesday I had decided to go busking and discovered the magical stage put up in Coventry. Performed there to the enjoyment of about 20 people over the course of two hours. Hopped on social media just in time to discover that Listen CLE needed a last minute fill in for a gig at Luxe Kitchen and Lounge.
Later that night I went to rehearse and jam with Parker Nox, which was such a chill and killer time. Great things soon to come.
Last night I pulled off my last minute gig at Luxe, fell in love with the food, and made fans out of a fair amount of patrons, judging by the applause and tip chest.
Today I ain't saying nothing, giving myself a much-needed vocal rest in preparation for performing at my very first wedding reception, joined by Deb Zep!
I've learned a few new tunes to play at a wedding reception this Friday.
You probably aren't invited to that, but come out to Luxe Kitchen and Lounge tonight and you'll hear me giving them a soft launch.
Big thanks to Listen CLE for the work they do to facilitate these gigs!
UPDATE: Due to illness, norah marie will not be able to play tomorrow, instead we will have Brian Douglas from BZDZ!
Wednesday evening at LUXE Kitchen & Lounge!
Felt like busking in Coventry today. I have no idea how long this stage has been here, or what its intended purpose is, but I'll be here till someone kicks me out.

Performed at Caffe Lena for the first time last night, and I will remember it for the rest of my life.
Nearly a hundred people were in attendance, and all of them listened intently. Their energy and attention filled my soul and I'm certain they heard the best renditions of "Where the Honesty Lies" and "In the Black" that I've ever performed.
I stayed till the very end, and every performer had me equally in their thrall.
It was a magical space that every musician should experience.
Special shout-out to Shannon Tehya for quickly fashioning a "YOU ROCK!" sign in her notebook to wave at me as I came off stage. Her set was captivating and beautiful, so the compliment really meant a lot.
Performing my original, "In the Black" at crobar yesterday.
It's a sunglasses at night night, ya dig?
Going to be an incredible night at the !
Been having a great day and want to cap it off with some music.
Besides, no school for the boys tomorrow and this busy weekend hasn't afforded me much time to play
"My Last Favorite Life" by Lera Lynn
I'll be exercising host rights and book ending the evening with two short sets.
Also excited to play bass for one of our regulars who came over to rehearse this weekend.
I'll be livestreaming the show from the open mic page every week from here on out.
☀️✨The Melladramatics getting ready to kick off Day 3 of the Carnivale at Ingenuity Fest!! We're here on the Cabaret Stage from 1pm-6pm today!!✨🎉
Pulled an all-nighter to finish set decoration, and assembling the newest additions to the Carnivale:
The Feat of Strength Wheel (with FIVE new events), and "The Arena Box", which should make our classic competitions of staring, rock paper scissors, and thumbwrestling a bit more intense.
Come find us on the Cabaret stage at IngenuityFest 2022 | Expo:Ingenuity and challenge a friend or a stranger to win stupid prizes and useless glory!
Time to take a shower and get some sleep while Deb takes over the finer details of The Wheel and adding some decoration to the Arena!
Ten days to Carnivale!

The Carnivale returns in less than two weeks, on the cabaret stage of IngenuityFest 2022 | Expo:Ingenuity!
This is going to be the most ambitious incarnation of the show by far, with all new feats of strength tournaments and sixteen hours of show to program over three days. It's been a logistical beast, and I'm loving it.
Be sure to follow our incredible acts below and stay tuned for some behind the scenes shots as we start decorating the stage this week! If you'd like to volunteer to help out, just drop us a line in the comments.

Thank you to @maurarogersmusic for providing such a healing and inspiring set today. Had to buy a T-shirt to commemorate my first time finally seeing her.
