A trend we love that we hope to keep seeing is matchbooks as wedding favors.

You can totally customize these to your wedding colors, logos, and names. Though you can place them at each setting (how favors are traditionally placed), we love having these by the bars and bathrooms for guests to take.

And then anytime they light a candle or a cigar or start a bonfire -- they think of your awesome wedding day!

People LOVE having their dogs at their ceremony. Whether they're the ring bearer, flower pup, or just a good little buddy that watches their favorite humans get married -- they are sure to capture the hearts of everyone around them.

But what happens after the ceremony? Yeah, they might be in a few pictures but we never see dogs much after that.

A lot of couples choose to have a dog sitter either hangout with the pup the rest of the night or take them back home so they can chill out after such an exciting and love-filled day!

Need a checklist of things to-do after your big day? Here's a quick list:

💍 WRITE THANK YOU CARDS | Get started on them now! PRO TIP: if any of your cards have money or checks, write on the back of the card the money amount to write that thank you card!

💍 FLOWERS | This is something you'll have to think about before you're wedding. If you're wanting to preserve your wedding flowers, how will do you do that? Resin? Drying out? There's lots of different ways and vendors that help you with this!

💍LEAVE VENDOR REVIEWS | Leaving reviews helps vendors become better and can help couples find their perfect match.

💍 NAME CHANGE | If you decide to change your name, imma be real -- this is a LONGGGG process. Take your sweet time to make sure you do it all correctly.

Some stuff will slip your mind on your wedding day.

There. I said it.

It happens to the best of us! But, here are some ways to do your best to remember ALL THE IMPORTANT WEDDING THINGS.

🫰🏼 DELEGATE, DELEGATE, DELEGATE -- give some responsibilities to your wedding party. Need someone to remember to take your rings to the ceremony? Perfect, give it to your most trusted friend to take care of. Maybe even have someone else remind your friend. Double accountability 👍🏼

🫰🏼 Something I often see overlooked is who will be taking the cards and gifts home at the end of the night. There are venues that will allow you to keep decor stored there overnight, but there's most likely NO VENUES that allow you to keep your cards and gifts in the venue overnight. Make sure you chat with family and friends and decide who will be bringing their car to the reception to take home all the goodies!

🫰🏼The times I see people lose their wallet is crazy. If you can, keep it in your hotel room. If you have to bring it, don't take it out of your bag. You'll lose it.

🫰🏼Hire a wedding planner. Yeah, yeah -- this is a plug. Wedding planners help remember all the things you may forget. They have an unusual amount of lists to keep things straight. They've most likely planned more weddings than you have, so they got this thing down. Trust the pros 🥰

Remember to do this on your wedding day!

I don't know why, but it's SO EASY to lose items on your wedding day. Maybe it's the numerous people going through your wedding bag to get tips, a camera, or some chapstick. Or maybe it's because you're lugging around all your important stuff around the city for 10hrs -- it's so easy to lose track of things.

Unless you're driving or going out after your wedding, do yourself a favor and leave your keys, wallet, and ID at home. 

No late night wondering if you left your stuff at the church or that park that you took wedding portraits at -- your keys are in the safe in your hotel room ✌🏼

In the thick of wedding planning?

This is your reminder that you don't need to ask family and friends for their opinions or advice. Your wedding is for you and your fiance! Asking opinions can give way for unasked advice and may have you second guess yourself. 

Just because something worked for your coworkers wedding, your besties wedding, or your sister-in-laws wedding, doesn't mean it'll automatically work for yours! They don't like your wedding colors, that's fine -- it's your wedding, and if you love it, that's what matters! 

If you need an opinion or advice, ask a wedding pro -- they'll be able to help you out without crushing your spirit 🥰
