🎉CELEBRATING SEVEN YEARS OF ANGELLE’S FLORAL TODAY🎉

Honestly… just typing this makes me a little teary. Seven years. WOW. My business that I’ve considered my baby is a full kiddo now. Actual blood, sweat and tears have poured into this since I was 15 years old. It feels like it’s flown by and been a part of me forever at the same time.

This year also marks over 4 years of my business being full time! We’re now at the point that this has been my full time career longer than it took me to build and get to that point in the first place. Jesus has been co-owner of my business and has been so faithful. I thank Him so so often for creating me to be a florist. I know that I am exactly where I am supposed to be, so much so that I know in my soul that my job even in heaven will still be being a florist. I imagine all of the new flowers and colors we don’t have on earth that God will have waiting for me when I get there one day. The privilege to learn His creation so intimately is such a gift.

I look back today and want to hug my past self for all of the hard work I put in that maybe no one saw, but I knew God was telling me was for a purpose. For every time I could’ve quit- or was even told to quit- but instead I dug my heels in deeper and kept going. For the times I was told I was too young, not ready, or going to fail and I just smiled with the confidence that I was creating something meaningful and special to serve God’s kingdom. We did it, girl.

Thank you to my sweet brides for inviting me into and trusting me with such a significant part of one of the biggest days of your lives. Each of you are so beautiful and unique. I hope I have done you even half the justice in reflecting the gorgeous human that you are in your wedding bouquets and flower creations.

My floral teacher in highschool truly inspired this business. I never believed in myself or my abilities before her. I never even considered me doing this a possibility! She said she saw something special in me and my eye for design (back when my designs were NOT GREAT🤣) and that I needed to do something with it. I can truly say that I don’t know if I would’ve started this at all if it weren’t for her. Clinks, there are no words that could cover the gratitude I have in my heart for you. THANK YOU!!! This verse at the forefront of my business may seem contradictory, but it humbles me and reminds me that everything I am proud of will fade, but what is important won’t. It is my way of dying to myself and picking up my cross to follow Him everyday in my business. I pray that as you go about your day after reading this, you see some flowers or plants and think about how He intentionally designed them. I hope you then think of them in all their beauty and intention, and wonder how much more God must have cared when creating YOU who He calls His son or daughter.
