**Important Update: Small Businesses Care Colonie Program**

Dear Colonie Community,

We want to take a moment to thank everyone who has supported the Small Businesses Care Colonie program. This initiative began with one small business owner’s passion for giving back, and while we hoped for greater participation, the program will be taking a shift in direction.

Michele Wildzumas, the incredible florist behind Osborne Mill Nursery, has been the heart of this program, bringing beauty to the community not just through her flowers but through her generosity. Sadly, Michele recently lost her mother to cancer just a week ago, a heartbreaking event that has deeply impacted her.

Given this, Michele has decided to continue the program on a smaller scale, focused solely through Osborne Mill Nursery. We believe this shift will still create the same positive impact, as Michele remains committed to uplifting the community with even more ideas and plans in the future.

While we make this transition, please continue to send in nominations, we are still here to bring light to those who need it most.
