Elopments will ALWAYS have my heart. If I could go back in time I would have put alittle more intentionality into my own elopment & never had a wedding! There’s something so special and intimate about eloping. It can truly be what ever you want it to be! I do my best to make sure your day feels like YOUR DAY, and not a giant photoshoot! The days drag on for what seems like forever. The weeks & months blur. Every day seems harder than the last- yet some how in an instant you completely forget the hardship of the last 6+ months - you forget the loneliness, the solo parenting, the tears you wipe from your children’s eyes as you hold back your own, you forget the lonely dinners, the spotty service FaceTime calls that need to reconnect 47 times in 2 mins- you forget it all as you scan the sea of camo searching for your person… your heart stops beating, your ears turn silent- it’s like a moment out of a hallmark movie… hold your breath… there he is. You run, but you don’t even feel your legs moving. You collide into your person & suddenly every weight you’ve carried for the entire separation seems to float away into non-existence. Everything is right in the world. Because in the end, you realize yet again, home is not a place; it’s a person. It’s your person.

It’s an honor and a relief to be on this side of the camera & no longer living through the long deployments of a military family. 🤍

Alittle storm clouds & rain should never stop the magic of your day.
Per Ukrainian culture, brides wear flower crowns at their weddings, Masha had forgotten hers, so her sweet husband was rushing around picking flowers in the field & braiding the stems together. We ended up finding some 5/50 cord in the car & were able to make her a beautiful wildflower crown 🤍🤍
