We'll be at SnowBLAST! Will you?

SnowBLAST 2025 Sponsored by Barna, Guzy & Steffen is in two weeks! We hope you can join us for this free family-friendly event.

The fifth-annual SnowBLAST event takes place on Sat, Feb 1, at Huset Park (3965 Jefferson St NE) from 4-7 pm.

The Columbia Heights Police Department will be collecting donations for its winter clothing supply drive. Please bring new or gently used winter clothing items. These items will be given to community members in need.

Looking soccer skills classes for 1st-3rd grade? Last day to register is this Friday. We have wonderful coaches ready to teach dribbling, ball handling, teamwork, rules of the game and more! Join Columbia Heights Recreation for another season of Improv Theater! Only 1.5 days to register! Ages 13-17 years
This class teaches improvisation fundamentals, including quick thinking, collaboration, and creative expression. This class does not involve line-memorization as it is all improvised. Participants will build confidence, enhance communication skills, and enjoy creating stories through fun games and exercises.
Every-other Thursday: Jan 9-Apr 3 from 6-8pm
$25 for the whole session!

Register now for 6-12 year olds Beginners Ice-Skating (for skaters who have been on skates and need more instruction)! There is still time to get skating lessons in this winter. Learn another way to enjoy the outdoors in the winter months, while learning a new skill! Skates required. Rentals can be found at Dave's Sport Shop in Fridley.
Lessons are Saturdays, Jan-Feb from 2:45-3:30 at Huset Park East. Warming house open. Lesson time 2:45-3:15 and practice/free-skate from 3:15-3:30pm.

Beginning Jan 4, the warming house at Huset Park will be open on Saturdays from 10 am-1:30 pm (weather permitting).

The Holiday City Tour brings a festively decorated firetruck with special guests that ends at Murzyn Hall for free cookies and cocoa, a Puppet Show at 6:15pm, crafts, and photos with our Jolly special guest!
