No, kidding! I've noticed Food Lion has their promotion to give away food already up in their stores. Oliver Gospel Mission, my personal local favorite non-profit, has started sending out mail requesting donations to help them feed their folks. Just wondering what others you've noticed so far? It takes a village, no doubt, to feed the less fortunate in our city. Just an idea: Start a "bag giveaway in your own home. Each time you go to the store, pick up an additional item you'll be serving at your own Thanksgiving. Then take it to Harvest Hope or some other like facility to help them offset the holiday dinner expenses.

What's cookin' for Halloween? Just candy for the kids, maybe, but if you want to scare up even more fun, invite a few adult friends to join in the fun, especially those w/out kids or grandkids, and help hand out the goodies. Here's a neat idea for a charcuterie board, i.e. adult lunchables platter, to feed the helpers!

We are officially BACK in business. Funny how something that looks like it's bad news, actually turns into an opportunity to make changes and move towards things beyond one's wildest dreams, right? Life can get "lifey," but learning from the past while continuing to move forward is the KEY to new and better things. Happy Monday, y'all!
