As far as I can remember, it was a gift to my father from my mother, and now they are both gone.
I'm sure that you are wondering at this point where this story is about to go.

Well, this past week after the event, I had to console someone after they had lost a loved one. The question that was asked was: "How do you move on after a loss?"

The answer is: "You don't!"

There is no true moving on. For me, it's moving through. It can't be erased or forgotten completely, and just like the coffee maker that I now possess, there will always be reminders and things that make you recall it.

But there is a solution. It's within understanding and accepting. We have to understand who we are and accept what will happen.

"We are but existences, existing and experiencing experiences that impact us to be, who and what we are."

Once we truly understand 😌 this 🙌🏾 we find peace in this journey of life, which is just another experience. We've experienced birth, they said I cried, but I don't recall any pain. If you are reading this now, you are experiencing life, which has shown you some things and caused you to feel pain 😢, but there's still an experience that we all still have to experience, and just to make sure we are on the same page, we have given it the name death. In death, it is understood that we visit right back to our existence before birth.

When we accept our existence, we stop allowing the experiences of life to impact us in so many negative ways. I get rid of my selfish thoughts of wanting them for my own selfish reasons and accept that they, you, we all have our own experience to go through. All I can do is encourage you to get ready for your next experience, for it may as well be death itself, which is just another experience for us all, not an ending. It's an experience, not an ending. It's an Experience, not an Ending.

So today, I make coffee, in the same coffee maker, understanding and thankful of all the experiences it has brought me. Knowing that even if I hit the exact amount of coffee grain and water ratio as my mother did, she would never accept the fact that my coffee making skills were better than hers. Lol 😆... Asé

So many times I've heard artists say; "I don't pay to attend to be at whatever said event," and that's okay. It is each individuals prerogative to decide for themselves when and where that is that they feel to be established.

It is understood that at this level of the game, some artists get what is known to be "the big head." For many reasons that may exist, if not careful, one might cut themselves off from opportunities that may exist, or even worse, teach others that look up to them to do the wrong things.

I've had individuals state to my face that they do not pay to get into certain events that I've thrown, but then turn around and ask me to pay them to be at these same events.
Trust me when I say this, there is no hesitation in my head when the decision is made by me, though what may come out of my mouth is what I consider to be a soft blown no.

To whomever this may concern;
In my hand on this post is proof that opportunities can come from many unknown places. I received it not because of luck but of sure talent and understanding of the goals and objectives that have to be accomplished on this road to success. Had I been big headed like many, this, like many in a learned experienced past, would have been missed.

1. My advice to you would be to always take your shots. You'll miss 100% of the ones you never take.
2. Always be willing to invest in the same manner in which you desire to breathe. The moment you want to stop growing and existing is in the moment that you stop breathing.
3. Be present in the places that provide you the opportunity to do what you love to do. The moment you stop loving it, stop doing it.
4. Be your best regardless of the size of the crowd. Opportunity comes from one person. You never know who that one person may be.

It is my wish that you have success.

You need some good chicken wings, fried green tomatoes 🍅 😋, a laid back and chill vibe, with some poetry in the atmosphere of a low light setting 👌.... You need your internal existence spoken too with powerful words. You need to get something off of your chest without the judgment 🙇🏾‍♂️.

September 21, 2024 .....
🙇🏾‍♂️ One year ago from today, I watched the spirit of my mother release from the body.
It was rough.
It's probably one of the hardest things a man will have to deal with in his life.
Did I cry?
No, sweat just kept running from my eyes as my nephew would say.
It was and will always be one of the saddest days in my life.
A forever trauma that also has a lesson to be learned.
And trust me, I learned it.
And one year later, I'm ready to share the lesson.

The Lesson: "Learn To Let Go"
Start today, understanding that forever was never guaranteed. Wake up to the understanding that this environment will have you feeling a way you should not be feeling. It will have you being selfish. Thinking only about you. Tricking you into thinking that you care when the truth is that you are spoiled. You've had something that was loaned to you too long that you don't want to give it back. You've claimed it to be yours, but the truth is that it's not. It does not belong to you. Give it back. Give it back. GIVE IT BACK!

Learn to let go........ and be thankful for the time you've had it with your spoiled ass. 🤣

Be blessed and be a blessing 🙌🏾....

Sometimes, you have to take a moment out to acknowledge the blessings in your life.

Today, I stare into this picture admiring the perfection of timing. How at one point in my life, the people standing right here with me didn't have a name for me to call them. How they were non-existent until the magical moment that we met.

It kinda makes you ask the question 🤔 "where did you come from?" While at the same time being happy and satisfied that they are here.

The timing couldn't have been more perfect.
