The wedding ceremony ran over, which resulted in the ceremony-to-reception flip time decreasing from 1 hour to just 30 minutes!
This setback was no major concern for us as professional wedding stylists because we had already:
▪️prepackaged the tabletop decor in its set order
▪️had planned to repurpose the ceremony florals, which already would’ve saved time
▪️had a team of well-oiled individuals who didn’t crack under the pressure of a time constraint!
Through considering all “worse case scenarios” for any event, we came overly prepared, so 30 less minutes wouldn’t trip us over.😎

As an event designer, we utilize various tools. Here are some standouts andddd stand(nots) 😂 *Silent Review Edition*: 1. FlowerVax Floral Leaf and Thorn Stripper We’ve used various type of floral strippers and love this brand. It gets the job done quick and doesn’t break any flower stems in the process! 2. 260 balloons These are the heart of the balloons garland, we use them to attach quads together or hook balloons onto the garland. We haven’t had problems using different brand of 260 balloons, but this all white pack for Amazon is cost-effective and gets the job done. 3. Heavy Duty Command Hooks These command hooks from amazon can hold any floral arrangement, welcome sign, balloons garland etc without any trouble. Put painters tape down before you add the command hook because it’s so strong! 4. Continuous Spray Bottle We always have a spray bottle on hand to water flowers on site. The bottle sprays an even mist, making sure the table doesn’t get wet. 5. Fishing Line Fishing lines were the standard for tying balloons together when we started, but we found they left the garland flimsy and having gaps. 6. Electric Balloon Pump We know there’s some controversy about using the “cheap” pink ballon pump from Amazon. But, the Anderson balloon pump is super reliable for us! We once lost it and got a replacement from Party City. Terrible decisión, It overheats, blow the hottest air, and we needed to unplug and replug several times to reset it. 7. Plastic Floral Leaf and Thorn Stripper This is one of the more popular thorn removers, it simply doesn't work for us. 8. Floral Shears We got a multi pack from Amazon a few years ago and have had no complaints. Love them! 9. Finishing Touch + Quick Dip If you’ve ever done a flower arrangement and you find that your flowers are browning too fast or wilt too quickly…it’s probably because you aren’t using finishing spray and/ or quick dip. 10.
