Some amazing food experiences this year so far. The first picture was a company at the Premier Food Show specializing in hydroponically grown mushrooms. I had never seen mushrooms so clean. I get excited over mushrooms … The next photo is some seared tuna we had out at lunch but I can’t remember the place! There was also a baguette with Strawberry cream cheese and honey. Chef Reese J. Flowers IV, help me remember the name of this place!!

We had a great time catering the Windsor Senior Center Christmas luncheon today in Marysville. We were having such a great time we forgot to take photos of the food! So here’s a picture of us pal’n around in the dishtank after the event instead.

We had a great time providing the food for Carrie and Ian’s wedding at the Everal Barn in Westerville. Wonderful food for two wonderful families coming together. The ceremony was lovely and so was the weather!

Some dishes you make little tweaks all your life. This lemon chicken is a prime example. Here I dredged with cornstarch as a gluten-free aternative to flour. Lemon chicken is one of those dishes I always feel at home. Here the lemon flavor is provided by the white wine pan sauce mounted with butter and finished with a fresh squeeze.

Remembering one of the best French Onion soups I recently had at Lindey’s. Perfectly brown and bubbly. One of my coolest memories in culinary school 15 years ago was our very French chef making us his own rendition. It was my first time having French Onion then and I always think of him when I have some. Hope everyone is eating well!
