Hi everyone! I am Elizabeth Schermerhorn and I am the owner of Bug & Bear Play Cafe in Marysville, OH.
Welcome to Bug & Bear Play Cafe, where play and imagination come to life in a vibrant and welcoming environment. We are a family-centered play destination created with one mission in mind: to provide a haven of joy, creativity, and community for children and parents alike.
Speaking of family, you will often see my own kiddos hanging around the play cafe. The name Bug & Bear comes from my own children’s nicknames “Callie-bear” and “Lukas lovebug.”
At Bug & Bear Play Cafe, we offer a wide range of engaging activities for kids of all ages. From arts and crafts to imaginative play in our custom play houses, our activities are designed to stimulate the imagination and encourage creative thinking. Our activities are also designed to foster connection and collaboration, so kids can make new friends and build relationships.

BalloonCasions is located in Lewis Center. Our shop is home to a unique balloon bar and luxe event rentals.Our exclusive lighted marquees and geometric frames are the perfect way to achieve that wow factor for any celebration! We’re proud to have introduced the all-white bounce house to Ohio, now available in three sizes. But we didn’t stop there – we boast the largest white bounce house in the United States, offering endless fun for both the young and the young at heart!
