Hello everyone. I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas. 🎅
I just wanted to post an update - I've been hospitalized for severe pre-eclampsia. I've actually been in the hospital since 12/18 but wanted to refrain from making a public post for the time being, to not only process what I was going through but in hopes that after some time of being monitored that I would be able to be released for out-patient monitoring.

Unfortunately, due to my BP numbers at triage, lab work and presenting with severe features both my OB office and MFM have come to the conclusion that the risks for baby and I do not outweigh the benefits of outpatient care.

The past 11 days have been a roller coaster of emotion, and I've thought of AMA-ing myself more times than I can count in that time. Business aside, it's been so hard being away from my family; I had to watch my kiddos open their gifts over FaceTime.
I am so grateful for my wonderful husband Adam, who is doing his best to hold down everything while I am here.

Baby boy will be delivered at 34 weeks and we now have a C-Section date of January 8th (which is also my husbands birthday)!
We are hoping for a brief NICU stay but it could be up to 5-6 weeks.

We are currently stable. ❤ If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out. Text or email is best as my calls aren't the best at the moment and have been dropping periodically.

We've had friends and family continually reach out and ask how they can help during this time, and just know that my family and I are so incredibly blessed and extremely grateful for the outpouring of love and continued prayers and good vibes being sent our way.

* For everyone waiting on albums, I am still working while in the hospital and I don't currently anticipate any delays in album delivery. My time frame is still the same. 10-12 weeks for weddings and 2-3 weeks for portrait/engagements.

I'm looking forward to the New Year, and coming back in 2024 from maternity sometime in March.

Hello everyone!
I know my posts have been sparce lately. I just wanted to take the time to thank each and every one of you who've shown me nothing but love and patience as I've navigated the later half of this year with a lot of challenges and changes -

From being with me when I found out I was unexpectedly pregnant with our third rainbow baby, when I totaled my car in an accident, to my oldest starting school and bringing home every single germ in the book -

I've stumbled navigating all the new changes to my life, my schedule, and my body this pregnancy; I am a high-risk pregnancy. On top of pregnancy complications, these past few months have been the sickest I've ever been. I knew when my oldest started school it was going to be rough in the beginning, but I never anticipated just how often we'd be having cooties make their rounds. That being said just know I'm doing my best, diligently working to complete albums, respond to emails and texts etc.

What I'm trying to ultimately say is, vendors are human; we are fallible, we get sick, we have emergencies, but we still deserve kindness and a level of understanding. ❤

I still very much love what I do, I'm grateful for what I do and I day-in and day-out pour my heart and soul into this business. Even if my response times may be a tad slower these days, or albums are taking a tad longer - it doesn't mean I don't care. I care and I care a lot; about each of you and giving my all.

From those who've supported me from the get-go, to those clients who keep coming back to let me document their memories, I really can't say thank you enough for all the outpour of love and support. It touches my heart and reminds me of why I love this business even when this industry isn't always kind.
