In a break from tradition, this couple chose to sign their wedding license during the ceremony, a typically private act done after the wedding. It was heartwarming to see them involve their guests in this special moment. Following the kiss, the bride and groom made a grand exit, surrounded by flying rose petals and the popping of champagne bottles. Oh what fun!

Six month countdown and Venue appointment with our out of town client…

Ale House 1890 is located in Lancaster, Ohio and just a few spaces down from Provisions Bakery & Deli which serves gluten-free items (a PLUS for Shannon and her family).

Here’s some tips to help you prepare 4-6 months prior to your wedding:

- [ ] Finalize the guest list and send out invitations.
- [ ] Secure a venue for the rehearsal dinner and/or arrange catering.
- [ ] Purchase or rent the Groom’s tuxedo.
- [ ] Choose the Groomsmen attire and schedule fittings within the month.
- [ ] Complete the Hair and Makeup Trial.
- [ ] Begin premarital counseling (required in some religions).
- [ ] Create a wedding website with directions, accommodation details, local attractions, and other important information.
- [ ] Reserve accommodations for the wedding night and out-of-town guests.
- [ ] Arrange the Newlyweds’ Transportation (such as a Limo or Specialty Car).
- [ ] Order the wedding cake, groom’s cake, and any additional confections.
- [ ] Check all legal requirements like permits and licenses.
- [ ] Obtain or rent any decorations needed for the ceremony and/or reception.
- [ ] Have the final tasting with the Caterer.
- [ ] Book the honeymoon.
- [ ] Purchase Wedding Bands
