🐶🍦 Now Booking: Dog Pup Cone Sessions 🐶🍦

Pup Cone Sign-ups are Now Open!!!

In celebration of National Ice Cream Day, get ready for Dog Pup Cone Sessions on July 20th & 21st! Celebrate your love of ice cream and treat your dog to a Pup Cone filled with whipped cream during these fun sessions, specially catered to your pup.

The Details:

- Sessions will be held on July 20th & 21st at our dog-friendly studio 2 miles west of Polaris Mall in Columbus, Ohio. Beat the heat and enjoy making fun photographs indoors in the AC.

- Sessions are spaced out so you can enjoy a private one-on-one session with your pup, free from distractions so they can enjoy their very own Pup Cone and we can capture the fun on camera!

- Sessions are 15 minutes and include 5 high-resolution digital images via download with a reprint and web release. Images will be available for download within 2 weeks of your session.

- Interested in prints or artwork of your dog to display in your home? Prints and Wall Art are available for purchase through your online gallery.

- NOTE: A Maximum of 1 Dog can be photographed per session slot. For multiple dogs, please book a session for each dog.

Spots are limited and must be reserved in advance.

Wow, talk about a gorgeous session! It was such an honor to work with past wedding photography clients Kendra and Tim as they prepare to welcome twins this summer! I couldn't be more excited for them both as they start this new adventure in parenthood together. It's always such an honor to capture people's stories, especially as their families grow. I'm grateful to have been able to capture this part of their story!

Mama-to-be, Kendra, looked stunning in her periwinkle gown amongst the rose gardens and we made some beautiful images of Kendra and Tim together.

Hi friends - Amanda here - I had a blast at a recent maternity session for past wedding clients at the Park of Roses this past weekend! The gardens look fantastic - the roses are blooming and look amazing for photographs! I'm so excited to come back this weekend and host the 11th Annual Dog Days of Summer Mini Sessions.

I loved working with Kira and her dog mom Diane in the studio! This 6-year-old Sheltie stole the spotlight with her irresistible charm and impressive skills.

Kira absolutely loves being in front of the camera, and it was fun to capture her showing her favorite tricks like laying her head on things, sitting pretty, and even climbing on objects with grace.

Active in both dog sports and training, Kira and Diane have worked hard to develop Kira's impressive skillset. It was so neat to see Kira focus and to watch them work together! (They even did some tricks that I hadn't seen before, like backing up to a "beep-beep" sound of a truck backing up!)

With her beautiful coat and infectious grin, Kira easily turns heads and was a natural during her session. 😍

It's always a treat to work with dog siblings in the studio! I loved working with the doggie duo, Molly, an Australian Shepherd, and her brother Bones, a White German Shepherd, and their dog dad, Andy.

We made some great photographs of each dog individually and updated their family portrait! It was neat to see Molly and Bones and their unique personalities during the session.

Molly was very calm and sweet and we were able to capture her gentle demeanor during the session. Andy added Molly to the family as a puppy and I learned that she was getting ready to celebrate her Sweet 16 Birthday! We decided to have some fun with her milestone birthday and we celebrated with a special treat from local dog bakery, The Cakehound, !

Bones, aka "Bo", was recently welcomed to the family and shared some of his youthful energy and beautiful smile. He is a friendly dog and loved getting attention from Andy during his photo time.

Together this doggie duo made some wonderful images! Enjoy a few of my favorite photos of Molly and Bones!

Today is an extra special day for the dogs! Not only is it National Pet Day, but it's also National Therapy Dog Appreciation Day!

I'm very excited to feature local Therapy Dog Kali and her owner Debby today! Kali is part of the Paw Force One Therapy Dog program at John Glenn International Airport here in Columbus, Ohio and is a member of the Alliance of Therapy Dogs. She is well-known in the dog community and leaves everyone smiling wherever she goes!

Kali has a zest for life and was hands down one of the most wiggly and happy dogs that I've had in the studio. (Her tail was wagging a mile a minute!)

Her personality is perfect for a therapy dog - She loves meeting people and gets excited to say hello, but when she puts on her therapy dog vest, she is focused, super calm, and ready to work! With her beautiful smile and her mom Debby by her side, Kali helps to spread joy, calm, and canine love to travelers at the airport. If you're traveling through the airport, be sure to keep an eye out for Kali!

I loved working with Ariel and her mom Rachel in the studio! Ariel, a 7 year old Great Pyrenees and German Shepherd mix, is such a sweetheart and a natural for the camera. Her smile is contagious!

It's always fun to capture clients with the people and items that are important to them. It was a treat to photograph Ariel with her dog mom as well as Ariel dressed up! I learned that Ariel has a wardrobe of outfits for every occasion including the pictured custom made dress from Doggish, .shop.

We ended her sessions with some birthday photos to celebrate her 7th birthday! A special thank you to local dog bakery, The Cakehound, , for creating a fun custom birthday cookie for Ariel to enjoy during her session!

It was such an honor to work with Jake and his family in the studio and to celebrate his 12th birthday! It's hard not to fall in love with Jake's beautiful smile and his sweet demeanor. It was easy to see the special bond that Jake shares with his people. ♥️

During the session Jake showed off some of his tricks and skills like balancing a treat on his nose and waiting patiently to enjoy it!

We ended his session with some birthday photos to celebrate his special day! Special thank you to local dog bakery, The Cakehound, , for creating a fun custom birthday cookie for Jake to enjoy during his session!

📷️ One of my favorite parts of what I do is capturing pets and the people that love them!

It was such a treat to have Mango and her family in the studio. Mango is a delightful, extremely smart, and sweet Rottweiler who was a natural for the camera! 🐶

It was so much fun working with Mango's family to create some beautiful images of Mango's bright personality and the bond they all share.

I had an absolute ball working with the lovely Lola and her dog mom Mariah in the studio!

Lola is a s***ky and loving Chihuahua/Jack Russell Mix who loves cuddling with her person. Pink is Lola's favorite color, so we paired her favorite pink cheetah bandana with our hot pink background!

Lola was such a sweetheart to work with. It was such an honor to capture Lola and Mariah and the special bond and love they share. Enjoy a few of my favorites from their session!

UPDATE: 2/12/24 at 9:00pm - WOW! Thanks for the great response in applying for the model call! The Model Call Applications are now CLOSED! In just 2 days I've received so many applications for some amazing dogs. I will be sorting through these over the weekend and will be in touch with those selected over the next few days to schedule a phone consult and get a session on the calendar. Can't wait to meet and work with those selected!

Muschlitz Photography is thrilled to announce that we are looking for Dog Models to help us showcase our new dog-friendly studio space in Columbus, Ohio and test some new portrait styles!

🌟 If your furry friend has what it takes to strike a pose and melt hearts, this is their time to shine!

📷 Apply for a chance for your dog to model. Selected models will enjoy a studio portrait session and photographs that you'll love, while helping our small business to spread the word about our new studio portrait options. Model session images will be used in our portfolio, samples, website, and marketing to help feature our dog studio sessions.

🐾 Model Session Info: 🐾
- The Dog Model Search is open to both purebred and mixed breeds and dogs of any age, from young to senior!

- Dogs must be comfortable with people and located in the Central Ohio area. (Bonus if they know some basic commands!)

- Sessions will take place indoors at our studio near Polaris Mall in north Columbus, Ohio in the next few weeks.

- The session will last about 45 minutes and as a thank you, you will receive your choice of 10 high resolution images from the session.

- Enjoy a chance to be featured in Muschlitz Photography's portfolio, website, and marketing.

Alicia Beauty & Bridal Glam the Dress Portraits

It was such an honor to welcome past wedding client Alicia and her husband to the studio for her Beauty and Bridal Glam the Dress Portrait Session! We love being able to provide this experience to women to help them celebrate themselves and make images they'll treasure forever. Not only were we able to capture her in her fabulous wedding dress, a 2015 Princess Tianna style from Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings & Honeymoons Bridal Collection by Alfred Angelo Bridal, but we were able to photograph her in a couple of her other favorite dresses.
