BQ from a list of teams competing and then vote on their favorite to elect the “People’s Choice” award. This contest is open to the public on a first come, first serve basis and participants are encouraged to arrive early! With a sample cup of BBQ sauce in hand, BBQ lovers can taste their favorite BBQ while enjoying live music and cold refreshments. Columbus Regional Hospital and Scott Ressmeyer will be on hand to announce their team of Miracle Riders for this year’s Children’s Miracle Network Fundraiser. On Saturday, starting at 11am until 1pm, the smoke in the air continues with The 6th Annual Char-Broil Pig Bowl sanctioned by KCBS (Kansas City Barbecue Society)/GBC (Georgia Barbecue Championship) cook-off, this event will once again host many of the top professional BBQ cooking teams in the Southeast. This year we will be sending our winner to Las Vegas to compete in the World Food Championships. Directly following the KCBS portion is our NEW BEST BURGER competition. Open to anyone who can cook a hamburger, we are sending our winner in this competition to Las Vegas to compete in the World Food Championships Best Burger Category. LIVE MUSIC!!!!
