I’m excited to share a new opportunity for students or adults who are interested in costume design and construction. Debbie’s Costume Shop will be hosting a sewing class specifically for aspiring costume makers.

Details:
- Date: November 9, 2024
- Time: 10 AM-1PM
- Cost: $70 per student- includes materials.
- Teacher: Tamara Criswell-Carder
- Project: Students will learn to sew their own corset, which they can take home. They will also learn simple alterations and tips and tricks that will come in handy backstage at your productions.

In future classes students will learn how to sew circle skirts, vests, peasant tops for men and women and drawstring skirts. These costume pieces will be able to be used for many future productions.

This is a fantastic opportunity for students to build practical sewing skills, explore creative costume making, and deepen their involvement in theater production.
