Meet DJ Cove 🪩

From the moment Cove slipped on a pair of headphones as a baby, 🎧 music has been her guiding force.

Cove was teaching herself to play piano and guitar by the age of 6, and throughout Middle and High School, she eagerly embraced every Band and Choir opportunity that came her way. College nights were spent belting out karaoke and jamming with friends, adding to the ever-evolving soundtrack of her life.

🌟Today, Cove is dedicated to crafting unforgettable experiences for your special day. With a deep belief in the power of connection, empathy, and joy, she curates your celebration to be more than just an event—but a heartfelt experience.

When she’s not spinning tracks in Columbus, you’ll find Cove whipping up home-cooked meals for loved ones, enjoying precious moments with her daughter, exploring new crafts, or enjoying the company of her beloved pets.

For Cove, life is a continuous celebration of every note and every moment! 🙌🎶

Meet our Admin, Avé 👩🏻‍💻

Behind the scenes of every wedding, Avé serves our couples by answering emails, updating spreadsheets, and overseeing communication with clients as they plan one of the most special days of their lives!

Outside of her role with TUC, you can find her studying ancient Hebrew, researching wedding photographers, watercoloring, spending time with her family, refinishing furniture, or singing through musicals with her sisters.

We’re thankful to have Avé and her helpful spirit on the team!

Meet DJ Arron 💥

Business analyst by day and dynamic DJ by night. 📊🎶 Arron loves music and views mixing like creating a story that keeps the crowd entertained and on their feet. His easy going personality and huge smile light up the room at every wedding he’s a part of. Even under the high pressure of a wedding day, Arron remains cool, calm, and focused on bringing a memorable experience for his couples.

Outside of DJ life, Arron enjoys working out, playing video games, and watching the NBA.

We are proud of everything Arron has accomplished as a DJ and seeing how he always strives to be his best for each couple he works with!

With over 20 years of experience as a DJ and MC, Dave knows how to bring a professional experience. His passion for music and magnetic energy translate into dynamic dance floors that elevate your wedding day to new heights.

When he's not DJing, Dave enjoys teaching media classes, hanging out it with his four kids, playing and building drums, as well as serving at his local church.

4 Wedding Tips for a packed dance floor 💃

1. Keep the DJ close to the dance floor. Your DJ needs to be able to read the room and engage with guests during open dancing, so be sure to consider this when planning your room layout.

2. Dance Props: LED Wands, Cowboy hats, Custom cutout photos, Party glasses, etc. Bringing a fun interactive prop for guests to dance with is a great way to engage guests on the dance floor.

3. Have open bar in the same room as dancing. Guests often feel more comfortable dancing with a drink in hand, and you don’t want people constantly leaving to go to a different room for a drink. This is dance floor killer!

4. Stay on the dance floor. Wherever the Bride and Groom are is where everyone wants to be. So if a packed dance floor is your goal, avoid leaving the dance floor for long periods of time.

1. Acquire a copy of the wedding timeline and set it as your phone background. 📱

2. Stay hydrated 💧and help the bride stay hydrated too!

3. Offer to hold & keep the Bride’s valuables nearby: like her phone, hairspray, lipstick, etc. 💄

4. Be organized & responsible: know where you need to be and when. Communicate well with others so everyone stays on the same page. ✍️

5. When it’s time for open dancing, you know what to do. 💃💃💃

First Dance Tips ⬇️

1. It doesn’t have to be a love song. 🎶 Choose a song that represents you as a couple and that is unique and memorable!

2. Consider dance lessons.💃 It’s better to look rehearsed than unprepared. At minimum, you can YouTube some tutorials and practice together beforehand.

3. Less chatting more dancing. 🗣️Try to be fully present in the moment. Smile, hug, caress, and kiss instead of chatting. This will make the photos better and increase your physical connection while sharing this special moment.

4. Don’t cut the song too short. ✂️You may think 3-4 minutes is going to be way too long, but I promise it goes by quicker than you think. In that note, If you need to edit out any verses of the song you don’t like, we got you. 🎧

5. Have fun! 🎉 Don’t put too much pressure on yourselves. No one expects a crazy performance. Make it whatever you want and enjoy yourselves!

Being able to just enjoy each other without everyone’s eyes on you will be such a breath of fresh air. 2. It creates the perfect moment to gather all your guests for a sparkler exit outside. While everyone gets in place for your special exit, you get to have your own special moment; so that transition in your timeline will be seamless! 3. Why are these important? 1️⃣You want to make sure your DJ will give you the opportunity to customize your wedding music, and actively participate in helping you create the perfect soundtrack to fit your goals and vision for the night. We have two planning meetings with all of our couples to do just this. Getting to know you and your taste is a vital part of the planning process. 2️⃣ Every DJ company structures their pricing a little differently. We personally like to keep it simple and have an all inclusive package that already includes everything you need for an awesome night! No surprises, no hidden fees. 3️⃣ Don’t forget to ask this! Although these situations are rare, emergencies do happen. You do not want to be in a position where you are frantically looking for a replacement for your DJ at the last minute. This is why we have an on-call DJ system in place, and it’s not some random Joe, it’s one of our trained DJs who is at our office ready to go and be dispatched at a moments notice. ⭐️Save this and send to anyone you know searching for a DJ!
