Full film coming soon! Rachel & Sean had such a beautiful wedding. These two have fun, dance hard, and the love they have for each other bubbles over. They had to stop at least 472 times during their vows to stop from crying. "If ever there is tomorrow when we are not together, there is something you must always remember: You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is even if we are apart, I will always be with you." A traditional lion dance, a coordinated wedding party penguin dance, brewery district walks downtown, three different dresses for this beautiful bride and an epic dance floor, a sweet final dance in the empty room before a proper sparkler send off on the cobblestone outside of High Line Car House, the list goes on.. but these two had an amazing day and we were honored to be a part of it. Was adjusting some quality settings on our drone and got a cool hazy Columbus skyline shot. Drones always remind me of three things: 1) how small our “big cities” really are, 2) how small we really are, 3) despite me being grumpy about all the trees our cities always cut down, there are a TON of trees out there

It’s been a lot of trial and error to decide what color style I like, (and what looks good) and it goes far beyond throwing a preset onto all my clips. I might copy the color edit from one similar clip to another as I move through coloring a film, but you really need to treat every clip on its own as there are so many factors that change, sometimes even from the start to the end of a clip. I probably spend 3 hours or so coloring every wedding film because I can’t bring myself tonight copy / paste. I love the final result This video was shot in slog3 on a Sony a7siii, 10 bit 4:2:2 4k video. Edited in Premiere Pro with Lumetri color. Creative LUT used here was Sony Colorist Anne Boyle warm d65 AB04

We got to help Heather with @fezz_and_hazel (amazing wedding & event florist!) with this walkthrough video for the classic magazine Florists' Review. Heather actually won the November Best in Blooms competition with this beautiful forest fairy rose garden design! The design was nspired by one of her beloved childhood books "The Runaway Fairy". We were happy to help with the walkthrough video of this gorgeous setup. @starling_studio took some gorgeous photos of the dreamy table setup too! In this walkthrough video that we got to help make, Heather breaks down how she pulled the design off!

Dreamy fall wedding

Let’s look back at some fall vibes as Ohio weather finally moves toward winter. Granville Inn is a vibe all on its own, but fall at Granville Inn was absolutely dreamy. We’re sharing just the short teaser from these two’s classy, intimate day because we never got to share the video! How gorgeous is every detail of this day? The historic Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in downtown Columbus was magnificent and gorgeous as well. The church bells sounding made everything so joyful. Fall weddings are definitely our favorite. Names and personal info have been intentionally left out of this post.

Her necklace was Arwen's Evenstar. He had a fancy pocketwatch. The invites were titled The Lyon, the Wenzel, and the Wedding; A Long Expected Party. They did ballroom dancing. Surprise fireworks over the country club to end the night. A secret prank drink that was unflavored dyed seltzer with fruit snacks. Their arbor was made of beloved books. The tables were adorned with themed book setups designed for each group of people at them. They used an heirloom Honduran machete to cut the cake. The traditional hispanic Arras echange of silver coins was observed in the ceremony. International friends who couldn't make it were included in the wedding party via cardboard cutouts on wooden rods. This was such a fun, but elegant wedding we wanted to share just these awesome details with you!

Anna & Cory – A Wedding Film

We had so much fun capturing Anna & Cory's big day at Station 67 (historic original Columbus Ohio Train Station). They're so fun to watch together. It's not every day that you get to capture three different weddings for such a tight knit and wonderful family! Anna & Cory embraced in the middle of the street for some epic portraits, and the wind played with Anna's gorgeous full length veil as we got soft, perfect weather portraits outside along the Columbus skyline. Seeing their family dancing together to their song was heartwarming. Instead of boquet and garter tosses, they had their friends and family come around and pray for and speak blessings over them. Kasie & Adam – Ceremony-Only Wedding Video

Kasie and Adam had a beautiful and intimate ceremony in a gorgeous backyard, surrounded by close family & friends. Their vows were carefully written, their readings were inspiring and challenging, and their love could be felt by all as we huddled around the porch. Homesick candles with scents of Ohio, Massachusetts, & Illinois brought the feeling of home and warmth, and the family stayed to celebrate afterward in the quiet Spring neighborhood. We were honored to be able to capture such an intimate setting for a wedding ceremony!
