FLOWER BOX DELIVERY TIME!

It took some adjusting, but we are running another flower box home delivery for next Tuesday/Wednesday, March 31st. This upcoming week's delivery will be 30 stems lovely of assorted Canadian tulips and fresh salal tip foliage, $25 delivered to home. Since we had such a great response to our last delivery, we are extending this to 25 customers, but orders must be placed by tomorrow morning. To fight those self-quarantine blues, we are trying something new that will hopefully bring a little joy to our favorite community. We are offering a $25 mixed box of flowers and foliage for (15) home deliveries tomorrow, Friday, March 20th. This box will include waxflower, soft pink roses, burgundy gerbera daisies, burgundy stock, and seeded eucalyptus- a great value with no delivery charged. IMPORTANT UPDATES:

We’ve been thinking about you a lot lately- our loyal customers, our brides, grooms, and party decorators, and the general community at large, and we would like to share some important updates about the business amidst the flurry of COVID-19 updates and coverage. In accordance with Governor Wolf’s most recent announcement of statewide measures to reduce the rapid spread of COVID-19 through Pennsylvania, Cut Flower Exchange will be closed to the public effective Tuesday, March 17, 2020. Though the shop will not be open to walk-in visits and purchases, we will still be on hand to meet clients that have existing pick-up orders in place for this week and the following. In addition, our staff will be working remotely during normal weekly business hours (Mon-Friday 7:30AM-2PM) to field and return phone calls, respond to emails, answer questions regarding upcoming events, and executing our other normal daily activities. This will carry us through the next 14 days of recommended shut down, and we will re-evaluate weekly as this fluid situation will undoubtedly change. We have already experienced major shipping disruptions with our international product and expect more to come in the immediate future, but we will be working closely with our vendors to keep updated on any improvements or changes in availability for the month of April. In the event you must cancel or reschedule an upcoming order for the spring season, please let us know as soon as possible- we would appreciate it greatly!

At this time, if you have an existing Palm Sunday or Easter order, or were hoping to place one in the coming weeks, we will be reaching out to those clients at the end of next week to discuss latest developments and how to proceed.

Please do not hesitate to reach out with any concerns or questions, or if you need a little reassuring or positivity. We are here for you- and will continue to navigate through these uncertain times with optimistic cooperation.

Living Wreath: Creating Plant-Based Door Decor

In another rendition of wreath making, we will welcome spring and learn how to work with living, breathing- and drinking- plants, herbs, and flowers that should survive through the season. As a multifunctional design, this wreath could also serve as indoor table décor or can be disassembled and planted when the time is just right. Material and tools provided; we will be working with soil so bring garden gloves if you do not want to get a little dirty.

The temperature is warming up, and so are our floral designs! Feral Flowers: Designing Large, Lush, and Luxurious Bouquets

An Evening with the Dutch Masters: Fruits, Flowers, and Flanders

Our theory is it must be the flowers… join us for our annual evening class where we will construct a gorgeous, luxurious centerpiece with dramatic blooms and fruits to mimic the dripping, draping designs depicted in Belgium’s finest export- the rich oil paintings of the Dutch masters. Materials, tools, and snacks provide; bring your own wine for a little extra creative energy.

During the summer and fall, we offer beautiful field flowers grown by our small collection of local farmers, so come take advantage of their unbelievable selection and assemble your own carefully designed “pail” of fresh cut flowers, all while learning a little about how they operate along the way. Winter Planters: Prepping Your Porch for the Holidays

We are trying something new here- a late afternoon workshop- in hopes most people have the day off. In the final session of the 2020 season, we will focus on designing a large, multifunctional autumn to winter planter that can be tweaked and tailored as the holiday season progresses. Materials and tools provided, but these large designs will require special transport so be sure to make the space in your vehicle!
