Terrarium Time!

Fresh cuts not your thing? With some instruction and helpful pointers, assemble a lovely medium sized terrarium with miniature succulents, echeveria, moss, and other woodland elements that will carry you through the lull of winter. Materials and tools provided, but feel free to bring your own glass container if you have something interesting or unique!
Living Wreath: Creating Plant-Based Door Decor

In another rendition of wreath making, we will welcome spring and learn how to work with living, breathing- and drinking- plants, herbs, and flowers that should survive through the season. As a multifunctional design, this wreath could also serve as indoor table décor or can be disassembled and planted when the time is just right. Material and tools provided; we will be working with soil so bring garden gloves if you do not want to get a little dirty.
Tropical Paradise

The temperature is warming up, and so are our floral designs! Using an abundance of tropical flowers and foliage like anthurium, orchids, exotic leaves, and other specialty blooms, we will create our own show-stopping tropical centerpieces perfect for a kitchen island or table. Materials and tools provided, as always!
Feral Flowers: Designing Large, Lush, and Luxurious Bouquets

Wild, organic bouquets are still all the rage… In this hot, end of summer workshop we will use an abundance of locally grown blooms and foliage to create an interesting and skillfully composed bridal bouquet with the trendiest flowers available. Materials and tools provided.
An Evening with the Dutch Masters: Fruits, Flowers, and Flanders

Ever wonder why everyone loves the Dutch masters so much?! Our theory is it must be the flowers… join us for our annual evening class where we will construct a gorgeous, luxurious centerpiece with dramatic blooms and fruits to mimic the dripping, draping designs depicted in Belgium’s finest export- the rich oil paintings of the Dutch masters. Materials, tools, and snacks provide; bring your own wine for a little extra creative energy.
Farmer’s Market Finds

Tis the season for our local growers! During the summer and fall, we offer beautiful field flowers grown by our small collection of local farmers, so come take advantage of their unbelievable selection and assemble your own carefully designed “pail” of fresh cut flowers, all while learning a little about how they operate along the way. Materials and tools provided.
Winter Planters: Prepping Your Porch for the Holidays

We are trying something new here- a late afternoon workshop- in hopes most people have the day off. In the final session of the 2020 season, we will focus on designing a large, multifunctional autumn to winter planter that can be tweaked and tailored as the holiday season progresses. Materials and tools provided, but these large designs will require special transport so be sure to make the space in your vehicle!
