Tickets are now on sale for Cookeville Theatre Company’s Black History Month production of We Rise Above directed by LaTrece Willis.

The evening will consist of Music, Dance and Spoken Word with a tribute to Nikki Giovanni who passed away in 2024. If you are a fan of Ancestor’s you will love We Rise Above. It’s new with an emphasis on the Black Woman.

Show dates are: Friday and Saturday February 21, 22, 28 and March 1 at 7:30 pm Saturday, February 22 matinee at 2 pm.  

Thursday, February 27 is a pay what you can night also at 7:30 pm.

The production will take place at The Wesley Chapel Theatre, 271 E 9th Street, Cookeville.

Ticket prices are $15 Adults, $12 Seniors and $10 Students.
