1. We do require a planner. Trust us. A wedding planner will make your journey enjoyable, not stressful, and save you money. We have a list of planners for you to choose from so you can find the right fit to meet your vision and financial comfort zone.
2. We do not allow sparklers, fireworks, or anything that can start a wildfire. 🐻 Our favorite send-offs are glow sticks, bubbles, cold sparks, and ribbon wands. These options are safer for the environment and safer for our guests!
3. All-inclusive is another word for cookie-cutter and that is NOT what Black Oak is about. If we chose to be all-inclusive, brides would start having the same wedding with the same decor and the same… everything. Our ideal couple is looking for an extraordinary wedding experience that doesn’t look like everyone else’s.

These edge-of-the-world views need to be experienced in person. Our pristine Mountain Modern Villa fuses luxury with raw nature. All sustainable, organic, and solar, the property uses structured, triple-filtered water throughout, even in the salt infinity pool.
Staying at Black Oak is healthy and feels good. Take some Pachamama coffee onto the terrace early, and take in the sunrise and the incredible views of the Sierras. The cloud cover is wide open and magnificent. Unique desert mountain landscaping greets you from every direction including Ponytail palms, Aloe Hercules, Butia Palms, and Bird of Paradise trees.
