PUBLIC MEETING FOCUSED ON COMMUNITY RENTAL CHALLENGES

The City of Coos Bay will hold a public meeting during the City Council meeting, beginning at 7 p.m. at City Hall in Council Chambers, to take public comment on issues surrounding rental challenges in the community. The focus will be on:

**Causes and consequences of severe rent burdens within the City
**Barriers to reducing rent burdens; and
**Possible solutions to reduce the number of severely rent burdened households within the City

The public is encouraged to attend, as well as those directly affiliated with:

*Local housing providers
*Local service providers
*Households experiencing severe rent burden
*Public Housing Authority
*Community Action Agency
*Non-profit housing and service provider
