Johnson Family Petting Farm Family owned and operated mobile petting farm. We take animals to birthday parties, schools, daycare center, churches, and corporate events.

We are a mobile petting farm that brings the farm to you! Let us come bring the farm to your next church, camp, school, daycare, birthday party or corporate event. We have several options to choose from. Petting Pen- guests get to enter to pet & feed the duck, bunnies, chickens and oat or sheep. Creature Encounter- guests get to pet our snake & chinchilla, come up close and personal with our frog,

and fish, and feed our cockatiels! Pony Rides- Our pony, Phillip, is gentle and can carry up to 85 pounds or so. Bounce houses- we have 2 12’x12’ moon walk bounce houses. Give us a call at 432-889-9042

To all of our friends, customers, fans and followers.

We wanted to give you an update. The petting zoo is still going strong although we did schedule a lot less events this year. Next year our plan is to be back to our normal schedule.

Some positive things going on around the farm:
Beth is a Senior at Gatesville HS and set to graduate in the spring.
Jenifer is a Junior in the Band’s Colorguard. They made it to the States UIL competition.
Hannah has went back to school to finish her degree in social work.
Josh finished his Degree in Agriculture Business and has started a Masters in Education. He plans on teaching High School Ag when his enlistment in the Army ends in December.

Have you ever seen an egg without a shell? This happens occasionally, usually after storms. A hen will lay her egg before the shell has a chance to form and harden. My theory is this is a stress response due to thunder and lightning.

We made some friends with a food vendor, so Big Pig got some left over hot dogs. We had such a great weekend.
