What a spectacular weekend in Cornell! The committee did an amazing job. From beginning to end they started with ideas that lead to such a wide variety of activities that met the fancy of fun lovers of all ages.
we got to see friends we hadn’t seen in a while, some from out of state including my brother Bill, Marsha, Butch, Benny Jane Lucas, carol,
Carol, Marlene n daughter and prob tons more I didn’t see or know!
I was thrilled to see so many from our class of 67.
76 fire trucks led the big parade with a hundred and 10 cool entrees right behind! It was great with some “living legends” appropriately recognized in the parade (Delores K, Wilda C.,
Marion G, Ellie F), award - winning float
With Abe And Mary Todd.
Thanks to all who provided food and beverage and to all Who set up booths, the Museum and Library, those who organized the schedule, over
150 stunning quilts, and ALL the cars for the Car Show!!! Imagine the amount of time For meetings, advertising, making contacts, recruiting volunteers, securing transportation for staff and entrees, reserving needs for Events, designing and ordering all the collectibles and the bricks.
Last but certainly not least: hats off to Eldon Leemhuis and all those who helped update, compiled info,
