For fifty years Costume Armour Inc. has been creating sculpture, armour and specialty props for the Broadway theatre, Las Vegas, Disney, theme parks, ballet, opera and many others. Under the direction of Nino Novellino since 1976 we can take a project from initial concept to enlargement to finished sculpture that is accurate and is completed on time. Examples of our work on Broadway include the 22
’ tall Ho Chi Minh for “Miss Saigon”, a 50’ monumental sculpture for “The Civil War”, the mansion for “Sunset Blvd.”, “Phantom of the Opera”, “Cats”, “La Cage aux Folles”, “The Lion King”, “Beauty and the Beast”, “Young Frankenstein”, “The Producers” and many more. Examples of our work in Las Vegas include “Phantom of the Opera”, “Lance Burton in Las Vegas”, Caesar’s Palace, “Siegfried and Roy” at the Mirage. Recent examples of our work can be seen in the films “Confessions of a Shopaholic”, “Bride Wars”, “Year One” and “The Producers”. Nino Novellino is the recipient of the 2004 Irene Sharaff artisan award honoring a lifetime of sculpture for the New York Theatre.
