Happy new year! There’s never a truly seamless way to announce news, but if you haven’t heard yet, I will no longer be taking any bookings past February and I will be moving on from the venue space. This Sunday (9th) from 12pm-6pm DAV of Cortland is hosting a family fun day, and we are joining in on the fun! I’m calling this a “soft launch” open house 😅 Not really ready for a full blown open house yet, but if you’ve been wanting to see the space, this is a perfect time!
There will be food and live music next door, so pop over and see us.
(Our parking lot will be designated for the event volunteers but you can park on Owego Street.)

Look at all that green! Did you know your venue booking includes the inside space AS WELL AS the yard space? You can bring your own yard games or setup a tent outside. AND the back of our yard meets the yard space of Beaudry park, so it’s a perfect option for more activities.

Time to reveal our little rebrand!
I’m so excited to roll out these little changes, starting with my adaptation to the logos. There are reasons for every little detail here, like the “out of the box” design, Owego Street running parallel to the Makery, and the box mimicking creating arms.
The new “joy in the making” slogan truly reflects what it took to make this space what it is, and what I’m hoping to make it into in the future, with your help! There is joy in the process and joy in the potential.
