Fun fact: the DNC and RNC balloon drops are always filled by volunteers. This year 55 balloon artists came together to create the drops in record time to support our friend Tommy @balloonsbytommy as he undergoes treatment for stage 4 lymphoma in Chicago.
Tommy is pure joy, and nothing brings him more joy than balloons. So we rallied him during this critical time, to visit, pray, and give him and his husband Scott love, support, and JOY during this critical time in his treatment while creating a monumental and historic drop during a historic moment in time.
Being on this team was such a privilege. ❤️🤍💙 🇺🇸💚🎈💚

If only it went this quickly! Yes, I lost a balloon over the fence, thank you to the neighbors for tossing it back, and this bounce house actually went up and down 4 times to figure out where to properly attach and style. We also didn’t record my fall because moonwalking on this thing while trying to attach is always a blast
