Our opening this evening drew a great big crowd! Thank you to all who showed up and lended their support to our little operation in Cushing! We had such fun and the artwork is so beautiful! The show is up tomorrow and Sunday (August 31st and September 1st), and then we are done for the summer! Come on down to 17 Hathorne Point Road in beautiful Cushing and take a look! See you soon!

There are several photographers that are part of our "Creations in Cushing" for next week. Pictured here are two pictures each by Rich Reynolds and Arduina Caponigro, but there are many other photographers who will be a part of our show too, along with painters, sculptors, jewelers and weavers.

Arts in the Barn, Cushing /Cushing Historical Society presents “Pastels: A Convergence of Styles”, a show displaying the work of 5 artists who work with pastels in a variety of ways. Ann O’Hara, Heather Spencer, Chris Essler, Mary Beth Morrison and Laura Beckering bring professional skills and use different approaches to the medium, creating beautiful effects. The exhibit runs 7/19 - 7/21.

Coming up the weekend of July 12th to 14th, the spectacular contemporary art of Erika Manning, Marli Thibodeau and Wendy Clayton in "3 Women in the Abstract"! Their work is inspired from movement, emotions and meditation, and their combined wealth of knowledge in the arts is immediatley apparent in their work.
Opening Celebration: 4- 7pm, July 12th, 2024, refreshments are served.
Hours on Saturday and Sunday, July 13th and 14th: 10 - 4pm.
Artists' talks on Sunday from 11- 12 noon and 2-3pm.

"The Flower Show" at Arts in the Barn, Cushing will have these two paintings of mine along with over 30 other artists and artisans over the weekend, June 28th to 30th! Opening celebration is Friday, June 28th from 5-7pm, and hours on Saturday and Sunday are 10am to 4pm. Then the show comes down! So, you only have this weekend to see it, there will be a lot to look at! "Hay Conservation Preserve in Spring", 9" x 11", oil on panel; and "The Rose", 9" x 12", oil on panel. Come see our show!
