Cy-Fest is a day of free family fun and it’s our gift to the community! Our employees, students and community members donate resources and volunteer time to make this event possible each year. Thanks to many local businesses and community partners this free event with something for all ages has been drawing thousands of smiles since 2005. Nearly 8,000 community members attended Cy-Fest in 2015. Mark your calendar and help us celebrate Cy-Fest’s 12-year anniversary!!!

Cy-Fest 12 was a huge success with nearly 6,000 attending! Lone Star College-CyFair would like to take this opportunity to thank our many wonderful sponsors and hard-working volunteers for making this very special community event happen. Nearly 17,000 community members attended Cy-Fest 8, Lone Star College-CyFair’s annual family fun day Oct. 13.

“When we created Cy-Fest back in 2005, we never dreamed it would be so successful and beloved by the community,” said LSC-CyFair’s College Relations Executive Director Michelle Tran. “I and the entire college community are thankful for our sponsors and our volunteers who make this event such a success year after year.”

Among the featured activities were moonwalks, face painting, slides, obstacle courses, pumpkin patch, a petting zoo, Radio Disney and more. In addition, community members also enjoyed the Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department’s annual Fire Fest (at Station 11 located on West Road adjacent to LSC-CyFair.)

Celebrating the College's fifth year anniversary!
Among the featured activities were moonwalks, face painting, slides, obstacle courses, pumpkin patch, a petting zoo, Radio Disney and more. In addition, community members also enjoyed the Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department’s annual Fire Fest (at Station 11 located on West Road adjacent to LSC-CyFair) and received information from area non-profit organizations, such as Mercy House Organization and Cy-Fair Republican Women.

In addition to Cy-Fest, the Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department hosted Firefest 2007. There was demonstrations of vehicle rescues, extinguishing car fires, interactive children’s activities, pictures with firefighters, a Lifeflight helicopter, an apparatus showcase and more.
