The bride’s request for their “Happily Ever After Party” was an Old Florida flare. She wanted to use heirloom oil lamps from the groom’s grandmother’s collection and fresh cut magnolia leaves (cut by the bride) from their land, minimal flowers and nontraditional wedding cakes which was beautifully captured by using the groom’s favorite desert, his grandmother’s mandarin orange cakes. And, of course Cowboy cookies. Touches of color with wild flowers, freshly cut oranges/orange blooms from a local grove for the nostalgia of both sets of the bride’s grandparents’ citrus groves. A mix of cowhides and the couple’s saddles used on the ranch added perfect elements in styling this unique and beautiful celebration for Nikki & Matthew.
