Shop local and you will NOT be frustrated with trying to track packages shipped via FedEx, UPS or USPS!

For all of you complaining of FedEx, I just received a call from a friend of mine who has been with them for over 20 years.

They’ve sent 40 FedEx Express drivers from Waycross, Brunswick and Jacksonville to help the Ground division. In this Waycross terminal alone, there was 17 fully loaded trailers with approx 50,000 packages they were struggling to get to.

We are in a day where it’s hard to find help at all but certainly tough for a job like FedEx where you push push push all day. For no benefits and little pay. Many more quit right before the Peak Season probably due to having to go to 6 or 7 days per week.

And believe me, the contractors who own these routes don’t make enough money to hire that many extra drivers. As a former contractor for 8 years, I can guarantee that to be a fact!

With Christmas coming, having packages not delivered is aggravating for sure. But the decisions of FedEx Ground have been leading to this for quite a few years. I’m going to write my opinions later on that for whatever it’s worth!

But remember, shopping local and supporting local businesses who put money back in the community, doesn’t require waiting for a delivery company!
