The only way to make an overpriced commercial money generating racket appealing to a crowd of ravers who have opted into sitting on their couch rather than go out on Friday and Saturdays is to appeal to their nostalgia right? Wrong. Because the attempt is so glaringly obvious and us ravers ain’t stupid. We don’t want to be a part of the machine ….we want to be a part of the local underground ….so maybe put some local DJs on stage for the overpriced headliners your bringing by to play and you will have a successful blend and a really really great vibe. And above all make solid connections- between local and world wide talent that will make a difference in the long run. Local talent includes people who live and breathe this spirit you want to generate inside that building. Local talent who live breathe and sweat pure music and joy and vibes. This is the end of my Ted Talk. Listen to your promoters reaching out! It would be beneficial to all involved to mix it up. 💗💪🏻💜💗
