WHY I AM so motivated with DNB and what actually tipped the needle to my amazing networking and participation with so many amazing artists and pointed me in the right direction. This DJ doing support here and popping up on flyers in Dallas causes problems with women and problems with promoters at events. I spoke up about it when I saw a screenshot of his girlfriend saying to another woman effected “you are a nobody and nobody will believe you” so I thought I have an advantage here and have an opportunity to speak up for all these women being shoved under the rug. This led me to eventual violence against me, and being chased out of Dallas as a dnb artist. But the strong will keep standing up and speaking their truth. This is wrong. It needs to change. I will not be silenced. To clarify this is not the featured artist it is Kotecki. It’s only minutes if not hours before we hear about another woman being hurt here. Hear our statements and our truths and quit glorifying bad behavior that does not change.
What was said to me is “he is always a problem he makes alot of people uncomfortable “ that was straight from Noso- when I asked that I not have to work with him. Before it got crazy ….but it all boils down to whether or not Dallas gives a fck about its women playing dnb or coming to see dnb at these events. This right here is showing me they don’t. Which is why I said Dallas DNB needs some serious work if this guy has been called out by over ten women publicly online and they are STILL putting him on stage. That doesn’t count the other 7 stories women shared with me but begged me to keep them anonymous. For fear of “repercussions “ they would endure. Trust me- no one wants those repercussions I thought I was strong enough to stand up to it and boy was I wrong.
