Azle community 💚 where business acquaintances are neighbors, neighbors are friends, and friends are family.

So excited for what this town has in store.

I had the pleasure of attending the Azle Area Chamber of Commerce luncheon today where the program was all about the plans for the new AACOC building plans. They’ve got some big (and fantastic) ideas!

As always, this networking event provided the opportunity to make new connections, build stronger connections, promote business partnerships, and even have lunch with a neighbor!

Here’s to taking leaps! ✨

Taking the leap to transition careers and to start your own business isn’t easy, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I have met and gotten to work with some amazing people, I’ve learned so much, and the rewarding feeling of having a satisfied client at the end of the day is well worth it.

To all my entrepreneurial friends and peers, I commend you, and I’m so proud to be part of such a wonderful community.

New year, new intro 🤍

Hi 👋🏼 I’m Lauren. I founded Revelry Avenue in 2021 after I retired from my professional ballet career.

After years of working in the corporate world (Hilton) and with small businesses (non profit and for profit alike) I got a good idea of what I wanted to do with my career post stage life.

So…I started this business for a multitude of reasons.

- to bring new, successful business to the local market through marketing and planning

- to help community and small businesses thrive in the digital marketing and tech age

- to help established local businesses continue to be successful in a post COVID and social media centric society

- to curate unique and fun events for friends, family, neighbors, and my community

- to do something that I love, every day!

Envisioning and planning out where everything is going in your floor plan can be tough, but is SO important.

A little checklist of things to include:

- entry space for good flow into the venue

- sweetheart and/or head table

- catering placement and flow

- bar(s)

- cake/dessert table

- guest book

- memory table

- dj/dance floor space

Step 1 of marketing yourself/your business - always carry a business card ✨

Yes…this is the age of digital marketing, but having a physical card to hand to someone can be a game changer. You never know when it’ll come in handy.

Networking events from business after hours, to luncheons, to open houses are great places to make personal connections and hand out cards. Genuine human connection goes a LONG way.

Design a card that stands out! Use your brand logo, pattern, and colors (and if you don’t have these I highly recommend investing). Change the thickness or texture of it so it’s memorable when you hand it to someone, or add a fun feature like a QR code.

Info to include on your business card:
- Business name (and genre if not obvious in business name)
- Your name
- Email address
- Phone #

Optional info to include:
- Social links
- Website
- QR code

Having (and using) branding in addition to a logo allows so many more options with your marketing. It creates consistency without being boring and creates a relationship with your followers by making your company recognizable. I got to spend last weekend with @violahillstudio who does amazing logos and branding for her clients (including mine!) and she talked about how she loves it when her clients use all of their branding elements.
