Online DJ at twitch.tv/joevirus Resident DJ at The ChURcH in Dallas Texas. Living in SoCal. Joe Virus has been DJing in the Dallas/Ft.

Worth Metroplex since 1988, spinning at Raves and Nightclubs through the mid 90's.

1988-1990 - various house parties.

1991 - hosted the legendary summer parties at Eden Park at Joe Pool Lake.

1991-1993 - various "raves" and warehouse parties.

1994 - Dj'd at Rave 4 (Hairspray flyer rave), his last time to DJ at "Raves".

1995 - took a hiatus to focus on his band Solemn Assembly.

1996 - Co-Host

ed "The Hideous Couch Show" on KNON 89.3FM with Honest Steve Stippec.

1997 - Started up "Christine" Goth Industrial night at The Impala in Ft. Worth, spinning and booking bands.

1997 - Was put on the FT. Worth Weekly's Music Awards Nominating Commitee.

1998 - Started "Re:Mission" Industrial Night at Unfilter'd in Deep Ellum, spinning and booking bands.

1998 - Started spinning at The ChURcH on Thursdays in The Video Bar.

1999 - Became the Resident DJ at The ChURcH on Sundays and Thursdays.

2002 - Began spinning at TEN X in Highland Park Mondays (for a year).

2005 - Began VJing at The Lizard Lounge.

2005 - Started "Guilty Pleasures" at Reno's Chop Shop & Saloon spinning 80's New Wave / Punk / Industrial / Metal / etc.

2010(?) - started Distortion industrial night at Crown & Harp

2019-2020 - started Shadowplay at Haltom Theater in Haltom City

Currently spinning 4 nights a week on Twitch.tv/joevirus :

Tues- Talk N Tunes Tuesdays

Wed - Retro New Wave Rave

Thurs - Distortion industrial music night

Sat - No Genres No Rules

And Sundays live at The Church 4322 Elm Street in Dallas!! Joe Virus will be available for private parties, Corporate parties, Goth/Industrial/80's themed events and leave him in your will so he can spin at your wake!!

I just heard the news that Santi aka DJ DeadHead passed away Saturday night. We met when I DJ’d with him at S***k Bank in Vancouver and he instantly treated me like a brother. We had a blast DJing in an actual bank vault together! It was a crazy night.

I will miss all his crazy social media posts and funny messages. Vancouver lost a great talent last night. Rest In Power Santi!

This weekend was wild!!

Friday night Lara 🐙 and I went to see Aesthetic Perfection perform with opening acts in Inva//id and Fact Pattern. All three bands killed it! It was a great show with a bunch of friends in the crowd with us! Got to chat with Daniel Graves, Ian from Fact Pattern and one of the two Chris-es from
INVA//ID! Cheers to Omar, Percy, Amanda, Carlos, Megan, Lisa, Holly, and DJ Bootleg! Great night!

Then Saturday we ventured down the hill to go to Das Bunker to see Pig, Curse Mackey and unitcode:machine ! The lineup was excellent and all three bands were solid!

I had not seen unitcode live in quite a while and I have to say his show is not to be missed!! With Bradley Bills of Chant on drums and Ryan on guitars it was a full on audio assault!

Curse put on a killer show with visuals all synched up to the music. He had so much energy onstage and totally drew you in to his world with his stage presence. I hadn’t seen Curse since Convergence 23 so it was great to hang with him and Rona.

Pig was excellent! I swear Raymond is aging backwards!!! He looked younger than he did when he played at The Church MANY years ago! It wa great to see En Esch again as well! They totally owned that stage and the crowd was really into it!!!
Great show overall! Cheers to Rona, Sarah, Novak, Matthew,Kelsey (sp?), RavenRagdoll, and everyone else i got to chat with Saturday night! It was like a Texas Industrial Reunion for Lara and I!

I must rest for today but not for long!
