“BE your Best, An you just might be the Best” - A photographer, web designer, a Christian these are the obvious images you see displayed when you first see Mr. Kevin Dukes who has grown to live by this quote he so eagerly shares with people he interacts with. At the ripe age of 36, Dukes acknowledges he has always been destined for greatness, learning at an early age to always be the best he could
be at whatever task he faced. A jack of all trades, but a master at one. Photography. This awesome talent is also a gift where Dukes uses his natural eye to capture images that others may not pay attention to. Genetically a left-handed man, Dukes right side brain thinking allows his creativity to flow consistently. As a freelance photographer in the state of Texas, many may tell you they have had an opportunity to shoot with Dukes, but most importantly that they would definitely do it again. A normal statement taken from his past subjects and models would be, “I felt totally secure when shooting with Kevin Dukes.” Security is something that Dukes portrays and resembles to the utmost. This peaceful man decides to not only utilize his God-given talents to help others, but also uses all that he is to influence others in to upkeep morals and values in his industry, never thinking twice about investing his talents into the goodness of all that he has come in contact with, holding on to the scripture relating to talents in the Good Book to always please His Creator. Upon graduation from DeVry University, receiving his Bachelor’s in Electronics Engineering Technology, Dukes found himself working in the chaotic day-to-day of Corporate America. God had greater plans as far as he knew due to the sudden layoffs, transfers, and politics in the work place causing Dukes to work against the grain. Looking back, Dukes was deemed the family historian, taking photographs at various family gatherings and even on his school field trips so it was only fitting that photography would be his tool to success. Kevin Dukes Photography was launched with an emphasis on the fashion and modeling industry, but Dukes found himself shooting weddings, events, games, and in front of performing artists as well.
