About The Planner

Hey there! I am Heather Mayo, owner of Firefly Event Planning. Although I am Tennessee native, I have lived in Texas for 19 years. During those years, I have acquired a Marketing Degree from Texas Tech University and Certification in Wedding & Event Planning . Along with my education, I have worked in catering, sales, on-site coordinating, photography, hospitality, management, and corporate event planning. When I am not planning things,, I am enjoying my little family in McKinney. My husband and I moved to McKinney with our two dogs in 2015 and we love it! We loved it so much in fact that we started a little family in 2018 when we had our son, Collin,

What drove me to opening Firefly Event Planning was my experience and my love for logistics and creativity. The best part of my job is being able to help my clients create and enjoy the event of their dreams.
