A more practical way to include your furry friend on the wedding day without actually having them present!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Listen, we love dogs as much as the next guy-- but I don't think they enjoy weddings as much as we want to believe they do.
Some venues allow them on leashes for the ceremony, but they typically end up in a kennel for the reception. Imagine being kenneled in a strange place with loud sounds you've never heard before. Yikes!
Maybe a photo pendant is the way to go for sweet little Fido after all!

The most underutilized space on the wedding day is most definitely your ceremony area.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​You've already spent time and resources to make it beautiful, might as well get the most out of it! Some couples don't even think to take any photos there except for the ceremony and family formals, but it truly is a great option for couples portraits as well! Something about the quietness of an empty chapel is extra peaceful.

Here's an important question you might not have thought to ask your venue...​​​​​​​​​Do you allow real candles or open flames?​​​​​​​​​
MOST don't allow open flames (for obvious reasons!), but many have policies that require them to be enclosed in glass containers such as lanterns or hurricane vases to minimize risk.
This is just a tiny detail that might be overlooked if you don't think to ask, OR if you don't have a seasoned wedding planner/coordinator to ask for you!
