✨John & Anna✨ It’s fitting that I edited this film while my wife watched Bridgerton. We were working in the Northeast, but it felt like we hopped on a plane to Europe 🏰 Anna and John got ready at their family’s houses and got married in Staten Island before driving down to Pennsylvania for their equally classy and intoxicated reception. They without a doubt had one of my favorite first dances we’ve seen. They never took their eyes off one another even with all of their guests surrounding them. Fast-forward the night and you get - TO THIS DAY - the best wedding band in the planet performing all night long. Sheesh. ✨JANET & LEE✨ This day was a bop 🕺🏽💃🏼 they each got ready in their hotel rooms, drinking and hanging with their friends, scurrying to write down their vows (or having their planner transcribe them) before heading to their first look. I should have known the rest of the day was gonna keep this same energy when the Catholic priest started making jokes in the middle of the ceremony. I think guests laughed more than they prayed? ✨Kelsey & Ian✨ “Love will happen when you least expect it” Those are the words Kelsey’s dad told her on a 2022 phone call at 1:00AM, to reassure her that her person *is* out there. She isn’t alone and she *will* find her soulmate. Crazy enough, who did she meet the very next day? Ian. These two met on this property a year and a half ago at a private music festival and decided this is exactly where they wanted to get married. It’s strong reminder of how circumstances shape who we are and how our story develops. They invited their closest family to take part in their day, hear their vows, and celebrate their love. Ian spent the morning playing guitar next to his best friend and officiant, Jim. And Kelsey got ready with her parents before having some of the most touching and meaningful first looks. It was such a fulfilling day that was a good reminder that your wedding day is about you. Not necessarily about following schedules, pleasing hundreds of people, or doing traditions because people tell you to - it’s about whatever YOU TWO want to do.
