Been having fun working on the DBF with the cool folks at Duck Puddle Campground...they also have boat slips as I am learning that some are coming by boat..yee-ha...Lee Anner is bringing her 26' houseboat for the weekend..Rock On !

Working it with Moonlight Productions for sound and light logistics..I think this will be thier 8th DBF and they do a hell of a good job..they told me they have done Junior Browns sound 3 or 4 times at least...twin Fenders put a part in your hair from 50 yards away...Bring it ! Can't wait..

I was asked the other day if L.C Williams has a license..? Well, I think so but she has a personel Driver..those guys are working hard in the Tampa/St.Pete area...lucky to have them on our stage this summer..check out their cd...It is very well done.

Howdy Folks, Less then 8 weeks to Camping with the Blues..times fly's,anyone looking for hotel rooms might want to check in the Bath/Brunswick area..only about a half hour,straight shot south on Rt. 1...hearing the Damariscotta area is a busy place that weekend..lol😀

A few folks asked me about this years line-up..It is a work in progress..so far JP Soars and The Red Hots, Albert Castiglia,Racky Thomas Band,L.C.Williams and The Driver,...just booked Ragged Jack,H-Bomb playing with a funky new stand-up drum kit btw....and after 9 years of chasing..I have finally locked in Stevie Jones " The Boneheads"..these cats have been one of the best of Maine for maybe 30 years..Stevie is well known for his work ethic and commitment to continuity with his 300 plus gigs a year with various ensembles...I don't know how he does it..between Memorial Day and Labor Day almost every fri.,sat,and sun 2 gigs a day.. He is a work-a-holic and his skill set you all will enjoy..

I want to give a shout out n congrats to our local Ben Chute..for those who don't know ,Ben was our first to recieve a DBF scholarship 9 years ago for embracing the blues at age 13. He wrote a song last summer that got picked up in Conn. and was asked to go into a million dollar studio in Montreal for recording and studio work. It makes me feel that was money well spent. At the age of 22 now,Ben in the middle of Jan. in Maine is gigging out at least 2-3 times per week AND hosting a weekly local open mic...he loves getting paid...he is not afraid of hard work and is serious about his profession..I hope it is not to late already to get him to DBF for a few licks this summer..no hanging around the house for Ben..Good Job Ben..!!

bearing down on Feb. already,daylight savings and spring around the corner..the lobster bake at Duck Puddle Campground is going to be awesome..New England Style...I think our host did 500 lbs.last year..without a fest going on..and remember..byob..no glass containers..you know how I feel about $5,6,and & 7 beers...no need for it...there is is great selection of beer n wine at the campgound store as well as all the usual stuff at any lil store..I have not heard Racky Thomas in years..can't wait !! Sure would like to get that pretty lil L.C.Williams in on a harp duo...we'll see..
