Had a chance to enjoy some Live, Southern Soul Music recently. Got to hear LJ Echols featuring Tina Brown. They BOTH put on a great show, and, were commendable entertainers. I particularly liked LJ's version of Marvin Sease's - "If You're Gonna Tell On Me". Here is a short video of LJ.
Day Ja' Vu Steppers, Jeans & White Shirts 2024, Indianapolis, IN.
The Day Ja' Vu Steppers, in Indianapolis, were LIVE last Saturday, at the Spotlight Center, with DJ Scorpion (Debra) and DJ Paul (Thurman). We were in our Jeans and White Shirts. Found this video from a couple years ago. It's a New Years Eve Countdown bringing in January 2022. It was at the Clay Cooper Theatre in Branson Missouri. The Haygoods, a great family performing group (like the Osmonds), had performed earlier. Yes - they were country, but "whew" they had soul. Njoy. #billyt937

It's Labor Day Weekend at American Legion Post 776 Ohio here in Dayton. I'll be filling-in for the regular DJ this Friday from 9pm to 1am. Also - this is the weekend for Annual Battle Of The DJs. Put on your all-white attire, come-on out and support your favorite DJ. Hope to see you there!
