We had the privilege of doing the stage arrangements for the graduation ceremonies at Millikin, Eisenhower and MacArthur this weekend. Congratulations to all of the local graduates! 🎓💐

Mother’s Day week was a success! We did a total of 828 bouquets, plants and geranium pots for Mom’s in Macon County. Thank you to all of our customers. A huge thank you to our designers, staff and delivery drivers. We worked late nights designing bouquets and we had 5 delivery vans running non stop since Wednesday. Now it’s time for us to enjoy our families. Happy Mother’s Day 💐🪴🌷💖

Our greenhouse is full of geraniums and our grower Tim graciously came out of retirement to share all of his geranium care knowledge with us. Tim is a legend around here as he was our grower for over 40 years and it’s a huge honor to learn from him. 🪴

Today Elsie Svendsen would have turned 103 years old. She started the retail portion of Svendsen Florist in 1946 and dedicated her life to the success of the flower shop. I hope we’re making her proud. 💚🌸🪴
