We provide programs for youth who would otherwise be unable to develop dance skills, boxing skills, karate skills, and receive academic assistance at the same time in a disciplined, caring and safe environment. We provide avenues and venues for positive self-expression and self-esteem building. Our programs promote fitness, good nutrition and education. This allows them to focus their energies in

a positive productive ways so that they may be successful on a physical and educational levels. We also enhance our community by putting on performances which add cultural value for everyone. About Jennifer Melchor

Not long after Jennifer Farris Scott-Melchor was born in Brooklyn, New York her loving and committed parents realized that their child had a true gift. Lowes Dance Theater in Carngie Hall was her first stop at the age of 4 and it was there that she danced until she was 7, from there she went on to the Billie Holiday Theater where she studied Ballet, Tap, Jazz, African dance and Voice. Around the age of 10, Jennifer moved to Queens New York where she began to desire more and that's is when she found Gloria Jackson Dance Studio of New York. It was then that her talent exploded! but she displayed so much talent, commitment and determination that she earned the position of Assistant dance Instructor helping with the younger children. As a result of her accomplishments and her genuine love of dance she has lead an awesome career in many different directions. She began by starring in a " Bounty " paper towel commercial with Rosie . From commercials came music videos and from there came the opportunity to work with or Choreograph television shows, music videos, tour for artists such as Mary J Blige, LL Cool J, SWV, I ce T , Big Daddy Kane, Salt & Pepa, Quincy Jones Just to name a few. Not just a dancer Jennifer rapped on Sole's Deep Skin Ablum, song titled IY YI YI remix as BOBBI BOSSELINA. Jennifer also had the opportunity to tour with several artist and travel to many corners of the world doing what she loves. She appeared in shows and tours such as Def Comedy Jam, Budweiser Superfest tours , Apollo, Grammy award shows, Soul Train, Teen Summit ,Motown Live, SWV European Tour & More. She spent this time not only dancing but listening and learning the ins and outs of " The Business." Now Jennifer has taken all of her experiences and started a new chapter, Jennifer's Dance Company, Inc.
