Hi! 👋 nice to see you! I wanted to reintroduce myself for the folks on Facebook. I’m the owner and head chef of my now 3 year old catering business, Hook & Vine. I cater parties and am mostly known for my outdoor paella catering experiences which you’ll see a lot from me. I’m also a mom, a cooking instructor, and a fierce lover of food!
I started my business after quitting my corporate job back in 2021 and after a traumatic experience of my father passing. That and the pandemic really made me take a hard look at what I wanted to do with my life. I did so much cooking to distract myself and hosted a paella party where I cooked paella for ~20 friends and family members in my backyard on my fire pit (pictured). One of my friends came up to me and said “you know, people would pay for this!”. And honestly, the rest is history (thank you to that friend 😉).
It’s been a great 3 years of creating my own schedule, meeting amazing people, and shaping my business. I’m looking forward to another great outdoor season and hope you’ll reach out if you’re in the Boston/New England area and need any catering this summer!!
