I just love how the greenery wall I sold to DeMotte Mercantile looks in their store! So adorable!
If you’ve never been there, you really need to stop in and check out all of the unique, and wonderful items he has for sale .

It’s always a good day when I get to stop here and shop for my/our horse trailer and wedding venue!
I found a bunch of old books I’ll use to decorate for weddings.
And then I came across a really unique and super cute vintage lunchbox! I think I’ll put this lunchbox up in the bridal suite, it will be a sweet addition 🩷

Our busy wedding season has begun at our venue Whispering Oaks!🤍
We will be hosting weddings every weekend, until November.

Each wedding I have the pleasure of decorating my horse trailer/mobile cart.
Most of the time the brides like to use my mobile cart as a photo backdrop. Sometimes, my mobile cart is used for beverages, desserts, or appetizers.

A new service that I’m providing this year is Wedding decor for the brides.
I decorate the inside of the barn, all of the dinner tables, dessert table, bar, card and gift table, etc.
The name of my Decor business is called la promesa goods

I offer three different color pallets for brides to choose from.
This is a great option for brides who do not want to have to purchase their decor, set up for their wedding, tear down the decor, and then have to figure out what to do with all of it after their wedding.

I really love being able to decorate and see the smile on the brides face!

And for brides and grooms that choose our beer and wine package, I also bartend for those weddings.

This past weekends content day was fantastic!! I absolutely love hosting these events and connecting with others through them! Getting to share ideas and create with others in the wedding industry fills me with so much joy as does seeing how happy all these gorgeous models were on the day!

Got up early today to get ready for a photo shoot today.

Once I have everyone’s information, I will be tagging all the vendors involved in pulling off the shoot.

All the styling in the barn was done by myself. As well as the decor in and around my mobile cart. ✨

I’m always looking for ways to help promote our businesses.
Both Whispering Oaks Venue and la promesa goods 🤍

I was interviewed today about how the venue and how it got started.

This was my husband’s dream to start a wedding venue. He purchased the property/barn in 2019.

He and I met at church in 2020.
I always tell the story that when Jay asked me out on our first date , I actually thought it was a job interview, ha ha!

Not soon after we met, Jay said “ this wedding venue is my dream”
What do you feel like God is calling you to do? 😭
I told him I always wanted to have a mobile business. Something as a creative outlet.
Jay told me that he felt like I would be starting my business that year. I thought he was crazy, lol!

And now here we are, working together.
Running both of our businesses and pursuing our dreams! ♥️

In the past year, I’ve taken on a lot of responsibilities with running the venue by myself. Because Jay works full-time in sales.

I absolutely love meeting with brides, helping to plan their special day! And of course, I love styling the barn, the bridal suite, and the horse trailer!
It’s a lot of hard work, but it’s also very rewarding!

I can’t wait to see all of the photos from the photographers involved!

We also have some very exciting news coming soon about phase 4 on our property!

It’s Wedding Day!! 😍

I love decorating my cart for weddings ♥️
It always feels like I get to go outside and play with my favorite toy! Lol

Today’s bride theme is sunflowers and roses. I’ve never worked with these floral combinations before. 🌹 🌻 So I had to piece together some of my decor I already had, and mix it with some new pieces. It was fun! ♥️

She will be using the mobile cart for her guests to self serve tea after the ceremony, while the wedding party takes pictures. 🍹
