A private cooking concept focusing on private events & catering.

Latin American inspired cooking with emphasis on Honduran food & culture.

The food trailer is our mobile kitchen that allows us to cook anywhere onsite. Keeping food as fresh as possible.

The team is composed of badass Latinas from Mexico 🇲🇽 & Ecuador 🇪🇨 led by a classically trained chef hailing from Honduras 🇭🇳 with over 15 years of cooking experience in French 🇫🇷, Italian 🇮🇹 and new American 🇺🇸 kitchens.

Our cooking approach is not compromised by any food trend, instead we focus on strengthening our style through a multicultural lense honed by chef’s travels around the world.

Our red salsa is made with fresnos, red onion, garlic and spices with a hint of sweetness.

Our salsa verde is packed with herbs, a slight spiciness from fresh serranos and a nice citrus back note from fresh squeezed limes.

Lime pickled red onions go on most of our dishes. A perfectly tart and gently pickled onion helps cleanse your palate but also adds a tasty onion flavor 🤤

OUR food is made 💯 from scratch, 💯 percent made in house. Our menu is small but we’ll thought out with a home style feel BUT with a culinary eye and force behind it.

We are so happy to be settling into our stall and now that we’re going into our 8th week we’re feeling ready to take on more projects.

Last week we had the opportunity to make ourselves comfortable in the Governor’s mansion kitchen to dish out some of our favorite party platters like this one!

Our signature chicken roulade with mole negro and herbs. This beautiful and simple dish was a huge hit amongst guests.

We were absolutely happy to cook and feed leaders in the Latino community and people who want to help in making a change through food and culture.

Fresh rice made daily with herbs and onions.

Red beans cooked weekly and finished with herb oil and sofrito.

House ripened plantains. Never frozen nor do they come in bags. We buy whole plantains and process them in house, flash fried and topped with homemade crema fresca.

Yellow rice, stewed peppers and onions with a tangy cabbage salad and lime pickled red onions. We also top it off with a splash of beef gravy 🤤

Xatrucho was created by chef Sandoval to become one of the premier private cooking concepts in the city. We focus on curating menus that bring together the essence of classic,old school cooking techniques with Latin flavor profiles.The XATRUCHO mentality behind food is simple. Cook with the seasons, source consciously and above all have fun while creating beautiful and delicious food. Our biggest joy comes from working with as many farms and small businesses as possible and being extremely careful where our purchasing power is exercised, we work closely with the Hispanic community to find ways to generate appropriately compensating jobs and giving the community the tools to grow through food. The XATRUCHO team takes pride in what we allow to come out of our kitchen, our cuisine is clear. Cook one hundred percent from scratch, taste as you go and never allow quality and flavor take second to trends and gimmicks. We make our cuisine accessible by having an eclectic list of partners in the food and beverage industry, we partner with breweries, venues and chefs to create events that range from exclusive dining experiences to very relaxed pop up events.
