Not sure for how many hours you need a wedding photographer? Here's the guide for you:

- Full Day

Choose a full-day coverage and get all important moments captured - from getting ready and first look to the first dance. You'll get a gallery that reflects your wedding day the way it is, helping you to remember every moment again

- Half Day

Usually, it's 6 hours and includes either getting ready, ceremony and portraits OR ceremony, portraits and reception. And it depends on what is more important to you - is it the moment when your mom is helping you zip your wedding dress, or the moment when your best friend cracks "that one" joke in their speech? The first dance happens at a reception as well, so there's a lot to consider!

- A few hours

When you have an intimate wedding (maybe it's just you two!), just a few hours of coverage can be enough. Depending on location, getting ready, ceremony and photoshoot after can be in one place (did someone say adventurous elopement?)

What does candid mean? A candid photo is something that isn't staged, they're the pictures that are snapped right there at the moment - often when people don't even realize.

RECEPTION! It’s time to celebrate with your nearest and dearest! The wedding reception goes by in the blink of an eye, so here are a few tips that will help you.

1. Plan it for you and your guests
Feel free to customize any wedding event or tradition to fit best who you are as a couple. If a garter toss is not your style, leave it out. If you prefer to have a couples dance instead of parent dances - then do it. Just make sure you keep the flow of the evening smooth and don’t add too many other events that will interrupt dance time.

2. Dress Change - why not?
I mean it! If your wedding gown is heavy or if you have a long train, think about slipping into a little white dress, jumpsuit, or second gown that allows you to move about freely and comfortably as you dance the night away. The same goes for shoes. Comfort is key, but that doesn’t mean you can’t be stylish.

3. Lightning
Lighting is everything! Don’t underestimate the importance of proper event lighting. Moreover, think about lightning during your first dance and other important events - because all this affects photos, we will take.

4. Relax and enjoy!
That means not forgetting to hit the dance floor during the reception ;)

The most important thing on your wedding day? It's always up to you.

It can be "getting ready" shots with your friends, family pictures, or bridal portraits. It can be photos of wedding decor or funny games you play during the reception. First kiss, first dance? Or maybe you dream of a generation photo with your parent and grandparent?

Whatever it is - don't forget to share it with your wedding photographer! Every couple is different and although we always capture all important moments, we need to know what is the most important for you two ❤

BEST TIME FOR BRIDAL PORTRAITS

Trying to put your wedding day schedule together is difficult! I know. But needless to say that after the ceremony photographs, the next important thing is bridal portraits. That’s the day when you have your beautiful wedding dress on, your hair and makeup done perfectly, and more important - you are just married! I can’t overestimate the importance of bridal portraits.

Obviously, we don’t need to spend too much time taking pictures (I know it can be overwhelming!), 30 min is enough for most couples. By the way, if you guys are into being photographed and want to do it for 2-3 hours, we are ready as well! LOL
But what is the right time for the photoshoot? Considering you’re getting married on Guam, you know how humid its climate is and how hot it can be. Moreover, harsh light is a photographer’s nightmare! So the best time to shoot is closer to sunset.

"Wow, hold on, but what’s about the reception? We need to be there at 6pm!"

You’re right! And everything on your wedding day should be just the way your want it. Sometimes it requires compromises though. The truth is - golden hour light is the dreamest and makes you look amazing. And the closer to the sunset we shoot - the better. But if you decide to have your photoshoot at 3pm, here is what you can do to feel more comfortable and get the best pictures:

- choose a location with shadow, like parks
- grab some water. It’s probably will be hot out there!
- bring a pack of napkins. It’s still hot out there!
- or choose an indoor location instead

And everything will be just fine :)

Getting ready for one of the happiest days in your life (wedding, of course!) is so important! It helps create the right mood for the full day. We LOVE photograph bride and groom preparations, and here are a few tips to sure it will go smoothly:

- Pick a space that is huge with plenty of natural light
- Think of the atmosphere: choose wisely who will be there
- Ask your photographer to come early (we are ready!)
