For days I’ve been smelling what I thought was cat p*e in my plant area, Livy our cat has never in the past 5yrs p*ed in my plants! I’ve been literally crawling around & checking pots with no luck pinpointing the smell 😤finally found the culprit, ever so beautiful gloriously stinky Hoya blooms 😂

Hello plant friends, we are revisiting our August social@ Amore da Roma in Eastern Market with special guests Ecuagenera & Rare Plant Fairy. Excited to have them both return for an amazing event, I am looking for additional vendors for the August 12th social. Indoor tropical or plant themed vendors preferred. Hello plant friends are you ready for our opening social? Please join us, as 20 vendors partner with Detroit Abloom for an evening outdoors to celebrate our love for indoor tropicals and succulents. This will be a buy, sell swap event! On the beautiful grounds of Detroit Abloom.
Starting at 230pm until 730pm on Saturday June 10th 2023. Beer, Wine & Water will be available with donations. We will also have Ador joining us again cooking up some vegan magic for our guests! Event is free and open to all ages. Come shop & swap and enjoy all the indoor tropicals & succulents that our Detroit vendors have to offer.

It’s the middle of winter in Michigan, which means we have several months before we get into warmer weather and a chance to care for and enjoy our outdoor gardens.
