Transportation increases are being passed on to the designers.

The use of sharp contrast of silver, black and hot pink to pop against the clear blue background of the Deteoit River really set the ambiance for that special day being celebrated at Detroit's own Roostertail. The scatter of stones, diamond baubles and hot pink petals reflecting on the brushed containers setting front and centered on silver platters accented the glitter sparkles of the gorgeous garden rose blooms. This continued the stage that was set with the 2 dozen diamond centered hot pink roses making their grand entrance with the lovely bride, Rebecca Abramson. Her handsome groom came right in theme with a touch of gem bling on his boutonniere.
It's amazing the number of different blooms in the Protea family. Did you know there are 1,770 variations in the come from the Proteaceae family? And that they are associated with the Greek god Proteus, who was known to be able to change shape and firm at will? Appropriate when there are 4 different types in this one arrangement. This particular tropical is grown predominantly in South Africa and Australia. I love working with the tropicals for their high style they naturally bring to the design. This particular arrangement will last a very long time due to it's ability to dry as is with out losing texture, form, shape or leaves. They are high end flowers but give so much in return.
