To all of our DBPB Dads who Pushed us to be
the best we could be
Taught us how to hit off a tee Pony
Showed us how te be good sports
Always seemed to know every rule
Made sure we had plenty of game-day fuel
Volunteered to be our coach
Threw strikes to us when we played coach pitch
Eliminated our throwing hitch
Showed us vour best pickoff move
Taught us how to focus to get in a groove.
Came with us when we had to travel
Kept us together when we wanted to unravel
Always wanted us to be number one
But still made sure the game stayed fun
(And bought us ice cream when we hit a home
run)
You made us who we are todav
And for that we want to say:
Thank you for everything you do for us,
todav and every day.
