Our little bantam, Tiny, lost her mate, Sir Squeaks ALot, this week. Ever since, TT has been holding her under her wing for comfort. It’s the sweetest.

Check this out! I got this radius root slayer in the mail yesterday that a gardener friend told me about. It is amazing! I had a thick patch of grass growing up a rock path and it slice right through it with such ease! If you garden, I highly recommend getting it. This isn’t a paid endorsement just me sharing the love.

Meet Peanut. She will spend her days here at Joyful Gardens. She was born blind a few days ago. She has finally learned how to walk while still a little wobbly. She requires extra care to find her water and food dishes multiple times a day. She loves to be let and held and we find her to be quite adorable the way she holds her head up high!

Twice a year I get to go to a Black Friday like plant sale that requires waking up and leaving at 4am. This year I convinced my dear friend to come with me. She made it such a fun adventure. We got so many beautiful plants! Stay tuned for all that’s growing!

6 years ago, this was my first veggie garden given to me from a friend that started it and then moved. We had just bought the property that Joyful Garden now exists at. There was almost no flowers here at all. Just lots and lots of grass and some evergreen shrubs. How fun to see how far we have grown.
